I had been going to this place every so often for maybe two years, and hadn’t been in a while so we went there for dinner tonight and was disappointed to see that the business has really taken a rough turn. The old concept- order your food at the register, get your drinks sit down with a number, the food runner brings the food when it’s done. The new concept- a sit down restaurant with a non-sitting bar in the middle.I assume they were attempting to match their new restaurant (the breakfast bar) to this one, however the concept has truly failed. They do not have enough servers to even attempt at a sit down place, they are just giving themselves a bad rep. The food was subpar for the prices; the quality has definitely gone down. I used to LOVE this place. Now, I am just disappointed. If this were my business, i’d keep the bar, get rid of waitresses all together. Have cashiers, cooks, food runners, and a bartender. Like the old concept order at the register, get your drinks from the bartender, and get a number for both. Then when your drinks and food are done, food runners and bartenders run them out to you. I think this would be much more profitable than the sit down, I will not be going back for a while. Hopefully this all changes and the food goes back to the way it was!!

Unbelievably amazing food! Their burgers are works of art! The bread, the meat, the flavors, and the portion size are all absolutely perfect! There’s a reason they have a 4.5 rating.

Not a single customer was in the restaurant when I arrived. I was a little worried that it might not be good experience. Boy was I wrong. The Bacon Mac & Cheese Burger was amazing! I enjoyed a very peaceful lunch. My server said that Friday night and Saturday are very busy.

Second time eating here, first time about a year ago loved the burger. This time ordered the chili burger and order of fries. Burger was way over done, bun seemed like it was old and very dry, fries were soggy. Definitely not the same burger I remember from first time

Very tasty burgers with their focaccia bread buns. I like how they have fries, toys and cheese curds. Also very tasty. It's pricier than fast food, but it is definitely higher quality.

Saucy used to be a favorite for us. We liked the quick "counter order" style, and it made sense for the casual, greasy, cheesy food offerings - not to mention that it made for an efficient visit. They recently updated to a full service style, and we gave it a few tries. I do want to specify that the staff members were great - but full waitstaff style of service just didn't seem to mesh well with the very casual atmosphere and food. It also slows things down substantially. I've wondered if there was a behind the scenes reason for this change, but between the increased cost for the visit (since I won't skimp on the tip) and the fact that grabbing a burger and fries went from a 15-20 minute stop to a 45-minute affair, it's just not a favorite anymore.

The burger is really good and worth a new experience venture! The 1/4 burger has bacon, an onion ring, fried jalapeños, on a focaccia bun and comes fries or tots.

Used to be 5 star when it started in the NewBo City Market. For a couple of years now, the food is just fair. The burgers are a little better than at franchises that smother the area but expensive. Severice is usually good. But, there are a lot of other options for a burger within 1 to15 minutes at Zeppelin's, Lucky Penny, 30 Hop, Nelson's Meat Market at noon in the summer, Map Room, Black Sheep, LP Street Food on Wednesdays, etc. It's tough for restaurants & all small businesses lately. Hopefully, they get it figured out soon.

Not the place for a salad. They don’t have many options. I’ve had great food here but the salad lane. How difficult could it be? It’s hardly more than iceberg lettuce with a few grape tomatoes. I had it with crispy chicken. The chicken is not great either. We had carry out so the two pieces of hot over breaded chicken just wilted the lettuce.

Apparently they've changed every thing. It's no longer fast casual, order your food, get food sit down. Now it's a restaurant. Have to be seated and wait to order.Menu has changed, now fries are included with burgers, but if you want an upgrade it's confusing and not listed on the menu.Very not impressed.Very much prefer it how it used to be.

Stopped on our road trip from WI to CO. Great burger and Cuban, fries really good. Service was friendly and very attentive. Well done, SF!

I ordered the Cuban sandwich, cheese curds, and strawberry milkshake. My cuban had one thin slice of deli ham and some dry pork. It was so bland it was pretty much inedible. The best thing about my order was the milkshake! Would not recommend the cuban sandwich.
