Shawnniecakes helped with providing desserts for our guests at our wedding reception. We ordered an array of options and everything turned out amazing! The cheesecakes stole the show, I was told, they ran out quickly! Putting in our order was easy and they even delivered for us on the day of. I could not recommend Shawnniecakes enough whether you’re in need of catering or a bite to eat for lunch!
I have been enjoying Shawniecakes delicious bakery items since the cafe opened up in NewBoCity Market several years ago. Now that Shawniecakes is moved into a new space in the Collins Community Credit Union on 1st Ave, they offer a full menu of sandwiches, salads, and sides. My savory favorite is the Mac & Cheese!
Today I want to give a special shout out for the excellent service from the owner, Shawnie. I ordered lunch For delivery via GrubHub… The GrubHub drivers car broke down, so Shawnee delivered my lunch herself!
I highly recommend Shawniecakes and will forever be a loyal customer.

AMAZING experience with Shawnniecakes. I placed a specialty cake order for a milestone birthday. She was extremely accommodating, the price was reasonable and the cake exceeded expectations. All of our guests were so impressed!

My daughter and I stopped for the first time today, it won't be the last! I had the chicken philly, DELISH. We each had a coffee drink, both fantastic. My daughter said the mac n cheese was very good as well! I'm hoping to try the infamous toffee butter cookies next visit!!
I highly recommend! So far, I’ve had the toffee butter cookie, a few flavors of the iced lattes, and the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, all of which were very good and well-made. Very friendly and personalized service. You can tell the owner puts her heart and soul into what she does! I look forward to going back and trying more!
