Finally found it today! She is inside the Collins Credit Union Building. The chicken salad croissant was one of the best ever. Add a cashew and a grape and it would take the record! Hubs said the Mac and cheese was great. Cheesy and a larger portion than he expected. Too full to try my cupcake!! The location was a bit odd at first but there's a couple of tables set up at the end of the lobby and the guy from the back came and turned in the fireplace for us! Service was top notch! Im going to call ahead for pick up next time but there will def be a next time!

Shawnniecakes is amazing! The food was so delicious. I hesitate to order bacon at places, in fear that it will be floppy or undone. This bacon on my breakfast croissant was PERFECTION! Crispy, thick and so flavorful. And so much of it!! Along with the tots, it was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The mocha latte was fantastic as well! I left with a smile on my face after interacting with Shawnnie. She was funny, down to earth and professional. I can’t wait to go back!

Let me tell you! Delicious pound cake and butter cookie! Wow! came in from New York to visit family and we wanted to try some dessert in the area and this spot called our name and it did not disappoint truly delicious recipe and the people were friendly and nice! And black owned with was a plus 😉❤️

I can only comment on the food because my husband surprised me at work with a chicken sandwich from here but my husband said the owner was fantastic and everything in there looked amazing! He said the staff and owner were incredibly friendly and helpful! The chicken salad sandwich that I had was one of the best I have had here in Cedar Rapids. In fact, pretty much anywhere! We didn’t get a chance to try the chicken Caesar sandwich but you better believe we will be back and I will get to try it! My 6 yr old also apparently had the same sandwich as I did today (he doesn’t normally eat a lot) and he finished the WHOLE sandwich! Give them a try! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped at Shawnniecakes today and got a breakfast bowl with bacon and my daughter got the one with turkey and it was so delicious! Literally the best breakfast bowl I've ever had! Also if you've never tried the Philly here you need to! The meat goes on forever! This place has the best food and vibe in all of CR! You have to try it!

Doesn’t tip delivery drivers, claim to be residential and leaves confusing delivery instructions. They do not pick up the phone, and they get mad if you deliver to their business instead of the bank security door that they call a backdoor. They make it out like they are adjacent apartments in their instructions. Update delivery instructions for clarity - “use bank security door - don’t worry about no public access someone will be there - not apartment” so that we can actually deliver where you want it delivered - I had to go inside the bank to verify address and your business was empty right there. I did not even know it was supposed to be a business, you list an apartment number! List a suite number and list yourself on the app properly. When I call a customer on the app I recieve a call from this number (pictured) that connects me to the customer. You did not pick up.
