This is one of our favorite places to go especially for happy hour. The staff is great, beer is cold and just a great place to hang out. We meet friends here for happy hour on a regular basis. Never disappointed.
Friday night a friend and I came to have dinner before attending a concert. When we received our beers one was cold and the other was warm. I went to the bar and asked for a cold beer and was told they did not have any more cold beers of the flavor I was drinking. I know they were busy with a large party in the backroom but there were people who came in after us that received their food before we did. I honestly think our server forgot to place our order and then put it in when we asked where our food was. Normally whenever I have come to eat I have received excellent service but last night was the worst service I have received. Very disappointed in the service we received.
For those who like bar type food and atmosphere the Starlight is for you. Food has gotten smaller and prices has risen...but we still go back. The tenderloins are definitely smaller but still tasty. Been going there for 50+ years.

Come and visit Zoltar! The Starlite is a legendary local CR staple, home of the Super Burger! The service is always friendly! There is bar, booth, back room, as well as outdoor patio seating available. Full bar with domestic draw and tallboy happy hour specials! Touch Tunes, 1 pool table and an ATM. I always get the Jalapeno poppers with a burger!

I stopped here on a Thursday afternoon around 12 30. I sat at the bar. The place was busy but not overly crowded. I ordered a corona premier and Philly cheese steak sandwich with cottage cheese. The bartender was nice and she easily recommended a few things when asked. I decided to go with the Philly. The beer was fine and the line was large and juicy, not dried out and old like what I have been getting a lot of lately. The cottage cheese was standard cottage cheese. It was good, not clotted or dried out. The Philly was very good with tons of flavor and juicy. When it came, it didn't look like it had much meat on it but had a goodly amount, though it would have been nice with a bit more as I did have a couple of bites with very little meat. However very yummy and the peppers and onions were sauted nicely. The only thing I wish is that they had toasted the bun, little butter and in the fridge for a couple of minutes would have elevated this sandwich to the best level. I would still order it, just make sure I would to ask for toasted bun. The cost was very good for the food and drink, being right around $15 before taxes and fees. I would definitely recommend going here for food as very good with very reasonable prices and very nice people.
