I don't understand how Taco Bell's are so terrible in Cedar Rapids. Chalupa are so stale and meet was tasteless. Only two in eastern Iowa that are any good and one in north liberty and east side Iowa.

Ordered a couple of the 6 pack of tacos both hard and soft with the lb of potato oles. Thought the cheese sauce automatically came with considering the oles part of the potato oles. Otherwise wouldn't they just be called potatoes? When I got home and realized it didn't come with, we were pretty disappointed and since they didn't even ask if we wanted it. The tacos were mushy and the meat tasted and felt like it had been microwaved and reheated more times than it should of been. The lettuce was soft and wilted. Not impressed with the food at all.

They can't read directions very well. I placed my order online. I ordered a taco salad and it was the worst taco salad that I have ever tasted. It was too salty, the steak had more fat than meat, I asked for no sour cream and they put extra sour cream on it. Not very happy with Taco John's at all.

Great fast food texmex, the tacos never fail to satisfy. And of course shutout to the potato olés because they are probably the best part of the meal (especially dipped in nacho cheese). But the service is friendly and food comes out quickly while being made to order.

They're popular so seeing the line of cars in the drive thru we were hesitant to pull in but before we could even decide what we wanted to order we were at the intercom. Despite being swamped, not one mistake was made on our large order and it was so fast we felt like we were the ones struggling to keep up. The employees certainly earned my respect.
