I stopped in a few weeks ago. I was the only person standing inside and they only had two cars in the drive-thru. I stood there for an extremely long time just waiting for anyone to even acknowledge me. There were at least four people in their tiny kitchen right there and some of them would look up at me but not one person even said hello or will be right with you. They literally just kept ignoring me. I just left. I decided to try them again today and they also weren't busy at this time. One of the burritos I ordered the, chicken bacon ranch, I got home and they gave me a meat and potato burrito. They're not even busy And that's not even close to what I ordered. I called and let them know I can't pick it up tonight and they said that they will write my name on a whiteboard but at the end of every month they erase everything so I only have until the end of September to get it. I have 11 days to get it. I asked why they can't just use a paper list in a binder like a lot of other places use to keep track of it and got told that they can't keep track of everything. That is completely ridiculous. I will not be coming back to this place.

Since the new ownership this place has ran smoothly. I do drive thru once a week and dine in every couple weeks. Always clean and friendly.

My Son & Daughter-In-Law live near this particular Taco John's. Every time the Wife and I visit them, I offer to buy. I have never had a bad experience here. Food delicious and hot, restaurants always clean, service is fast, staff always friendly. Five stars all around!

I don't understand how Taco Bell's are so terrible in Cedar Rapids. Chalupa are so stale and meet was tasteless. Only two in eastern Iowa that are any good and one in north liberty and east side Iowa.

Ordered a couple of the 6 pack of tacos both hard and soft with the lb of potato oles. Thought the cheese sauce automatically came with considering the oles part of the potato oles. Otherwise wouldn't they just be called potatoes? When I got home and realized it didn't come with, we were pretty disappointed and since they didn't even ask if we wanted it. The tacos were mushy and the meat tasted and felt like it had been microwaved and reheated more times than it should of been. The lettuce was soft and wilted. Not impressed with the food at all.

They can't read directions very well. I placed my order online. I ordered a taco salad and it was the worst taco salad that I have ever tasted. It was too salty, the steak had more fat than meat, I asked for no sour cream and they put extra sour cream on it. Not very happy with Taco John's at all.
