I ordered takeout steak here 8 days consecutively. I know that’s excessive but I was somewhat-recently ill, and my job is rather laborious so I’m eating more than usual.
I’d typically order a 11-16oz handcut Sirloin, 2 sides of mashed potatoes and either green beans or broccoli.
Every time I ordered my steak medium and it was cooked to perfection each and every time. They cook the meats very consistently and I can vouch for that since I ordered every damn day this past week.
Green beans are great, little watery so I always drain it.
Ya can’t really eff up steamed broccoli; it’s good too lol.
Love the mashed potatoes. Very few clumps, very mashed lol.
If you order takeout and request silverware, make sure to triple check. They always forget but no biggie.
Staff is polite but with takeout, interactions are limited. They keep asking me to fill out the surveys but there is zero incentivization for me to do so. So I just don’t. Plus, the surveys are weird and difficult to fill out in a reasonable amount of time. No thanks!
My only real complaint is the excess bread. I’m sure Texas Steakhouse has some kinda bread policy or whatever but even if I Special Request “NOOO BREAD” I receive a metric butt-ton of bread, every time. I throw it away. I don’t want that much bread. It all goes in the garbage. I’m sorry but that’s YOUR waste, not mine. Change your policy lol.
Wheelchair accessibility: If you come during busy hours (dinner), wheel chair access is realistically VERY limited. The entrance and walkways are super crowded, and parking is going to be packed.

I went to the texas road house here in cedar rapids iowa. And what a joke I got a steak cooked well done with just a little pink and a loaded baked potato and a house salad with 1000 island dressing. The salad was very small and warm and the dressing was also warm and tasted off I hadvto ask for more dressing and it was also warm and smelled spoiled. I couldn't eat it at all. Then I was brought the wrong steak that had a bone in it nope that's not what I ordered and once again it was burnt so I had to ask for it to be redone it came with onions and mushrooms yuck they were over cooked andbthe onions were cooked in butter and the mushrooms were cooked in oil and mixed together. Gross.it was covering the steak to cover up that it was burnt and under cooked. When the bright a new steak the same then happened and it was also burnt and 50 percent fat and grissel and all they did was take the bone out I'm not happy your a steak house. It seems that you forgot how to fo steak the right way teaxs road house you now seem like a fast food stesk.place I'm very unhappy I just want a good steak like I asked for and willing to pay for can this issue be fixed please.this time I took pictures 🙏I hope I hear back

Our server was Josie. She was attentive, friendly, and efficient. She took out order and it was spot on. Our steaks were cooked just how we ordered them and we're tasty. Several people came to our table. Each one was pleasant. Everyone paid attention to us, but they didn't bother us. We had a great experience.

We were not impressed to start. Both steaks ordered were not cooked as asked. Kid was not eating his mac n cheese. The manager came through and asked how was everything. I asked if he wanted the truth, he said yes. He helped get the mac n cheese swapped out for chicken strips my kid actually ate and saved the night.

I just love their food. Their customer service is very welcoming, and they keep checking on you to see if you need anything else. It's pretty cool how they celebrate people's birthday's with a dance and song lol . I 100% recommend this Restaurant to everyone.
Food was delicious. But noticed that they clean the tables with the same dirty rag they cleaned other tables. They used to spray a cleaner on each table which was to disinfect a little.

mmmhmmmhmm yehaw this made me bounce out of my cowboots. Just like my dear old mammas cooking in the deep heart of arkansas. Staff was very friendly but they could use an update as they ar not arkansasian enough yehaw. My silverware was the best part tasted like pure silver?

We sat at the bar. Was quickly waited on. The server was very polite and attentive. We both ordered a steak and potato dinner. This was the best experience we have had at this location in many years. Our steaks were done to perfection to our liking. It's very juicy, well seasoned. Our baked potatoes (mine was a sweet potato) were very hot and fresh. The atmosphere was also good, and the wait staff that passed by smiled and acknowledged us. It was right after dinner rush that we arrived. Great job tonight, cooks and servers!
