Our server was excellent and very attentive! Unfortunately the menu hasn't changed since the last time we came here-probably in 2024. It just isn't the same anymore. This restaurant used to be such a treat with seasonal offerings and great fresh seafood.

We had the Christmas Tea and it was wonderful. I hope they decide to do this more often. Reservations were required for the tea but they are not necessary for the restaurant during regular hours.

I have been coming here for many years but had been a bit since my last visit. Ate twice here during a one night stay and the food was so disappointing. The quality has dropped off significantly compared to a few years ago. My omelet was thin and insubstantial, probably half the size of what I remember from previous visits. For dinner I ordered some shepherds pie type dish and it tasted even worse than it looked. For some reason they did the potatoes in a swirl pattern on top and I honestly thought it looked like a mash potato version of the poop emoji. I had a couple bites then just left...after paying of course :)
The servers are always nice, though, so that makes it good enough for a business meal. Just wouldn't pay my own money to eat here.

From the moment we walked in, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our big day. The space is absolutely beautiful—modern, elegant, and welcoming. But what really made it special was the incredible team behind it all. The staff -especially Melissa-at The Hotel at Kirkwood went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were organized, responsive, and genuinely kind throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the wedding, everything was flawless—from the setup to the food to the flow of the evening. Our guests were raving about the venue, and we felt so supported every step of the way. If you're looking for a wedding location that combines style, comfort, and top-notch service, we can't recommend The Hotel at Kirkwood enough!
Nice atmosphere, good food. The students seem to really care. Expect Red Robin level fare at slightly higher prices.

I came in there this past Friday for lunch I got the beef prosciutto or whatever and that thing was nasty over salted in my opinion! Sweet potatoes doesn’t mix will with the skirt stake and slimy sauce they used. But I will say the chicken sandwich was juicy but way too small to be considered a full meal. The corn soup was underwhelming but the serve was really nice and did a great job serving me in a timely manner. I paid $36 as a single male. For me brining a family here and spending over $100 is just not worth it for lunch.

Two of us had to send our fillet back we ordered medium rare and they were very well done. They did take care of it. The mashed potatoes were cold. Vegetables were good. The steak texture was off, even though it was done properly the second time. The desserts Were not what was expected. For the price, it definitely was not worth it.

This was a great stop on a 1,000 mile road trip. Easy to get to off the interstate and only option we could find find that wasn’t either fast food or fried bar food, but with fresh, classic options.
Clean, a bit upscale on atmosphere but we felt fine there being casually dressed. Service was great and food delicious!
If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll be back!

The salmon entrée had clean flavor and a nice sear, though the risotto on the side leaned a bit heavy. Staff stayed professional and friendly, and the modern, polished dining room made the evening relaxed but refined.

We visited the restaurant today. We had reservations at 10 AM. We all got seated. It was a good twenty minutes before the waitress came around to get drinks, then another twenty twenty five minutes before she came around to take our orders. Then it was a good 30 to 40 minutes before we received our food and mind you, it was our table,(10 people) another table in the opposite party room and one other table of two people the entire restaurant. When we did finally receive our food , half of the egg orders were completely wrong and sloppily plated. We finally got to eat about 1130, and we were seated at 10am... I used to think this place was a pretty upscale restaurant , but don't think I will bring a group again.

Having just moved to the area recently we heard The Class Act was doing a “Passport to Hawaii”. I made reservations for my husband & I to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Having never been to the property before, we were greeted at the host podium by a polite young man. The restaurant was busy and bustling. We were 15 minutes early for our dinner, and assumed we would have a wait for our table. He found our reservation and swiftly showed us to a booth. Our server came over and introduced herself, handing us the menus for the Passport to Hawaii. The menu had offerings that were described in a way to make your mouth water, and tantalize the taste buds. We ordered drinks. How long since I have had a Pina Colada! Each time a course was served, the dish presentation was beautiful/perfect. Our server would then proudly let us know what she had just placed in front of us, describing the ingredients and flavors we would be enjoying. She did this with every course, and knew the items flawlessly. We (I actually) mentioned to the host it was our anniversary. We were not seeking any special treatment, but just wanted to let our host know why we were dining this evening. Our server then wished us a Happy Anniversary, along with the Manager doing the same during our meal. It was not my intention to have everyone come by and wish us a Happy Anniversary,,,,,but it sure was special. Thank You. While eating each course we discussed at great length about choice, presentation, taste, texture of each dish. The restaurant, the staff, the food, brought comparison to the fine dining establishments usually found in large cities, and at a higher price tag. Thank You to the entire staff of the Class Act for a memorable evening of food & hospitality.
