If you are looking for great food and friendly service- this is your place! I have tried many of their dishes and loved everything I have eaten. Word of advice: save room for dessert!!!
We’ve already been here twice—and we’ll definitely be back again! The food is absolutely amazing, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The staff makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in, and their friendliness really adds to the experience. It’s rare to find a place that gets both the food and the atmosphere so right. A new favorite spot for us!
District CR supplied our meal for a meeting at work. Everything was excellent! Have eaten at the restaraunt several times. Will definitely go back!!

The District CR is a fantastic local restaurant in Cedar Rapids where the staff is friendly, warm, welcoming, and treats guests like family. The service consistently goes above and beyond, with servers providing excellent recommendations and even samples like the amazing Tasso sauce. The food is top tier, great, delicious, and SO flavorful, featuring a wide variety of choices. Guests enjoy everything from drinks, apps, and entrees like the Tasso fettuccine with cajun shrimp, burgers, and the fried chicken sandwich to very tasty desserts. For special occasions like birthdays, the owner often makes a special dessert or brings out a piece of lemon cake on the house. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a good selection of beers on tap and good Old Fashioneds. It is highly recommended for a night out.
