Huge seating area throughout the 3 dining areas, the bar and the outside patio. The decor is phenomenal and one of a kind. The staff is welcoming and very pleasant to be around. They definitely want you to have a nice warming experience. The owners are amazing and accommodating to all situations, they also are very in tune with the customers and their wants and needs. They enjoy giving that personal warming experience by checking in to make sure you’re getting the best service possible as well as feedback to make the experience even better for the next visit. When it comes to the food, it’s amazing. My favorite is the airline chicken and mashed potatoes. The flavor is definitely there and the potatoes are homemade with are the best kind in my opinion. The Mac and cheese was fantastic my son is a picky eater and he’s very selective about his food but he couldn’t get enough of it! I love supporting small/family owned businesses and this is definitely a place to come check out for the full experience.

Serving uncooked chicken is beyond low for a restaurant. I don’t think they will be around long. The server was okay he didn’t accommodate anything for this dangerous mistake still charged full price for everything. They need to find another cook ASAP. I’m not feeling that well after eating here. Definitely not recommended.

I recently met a couple of close friends here who I went to college here in Cedar Rapids (which was ages ago) who, along with their two children, ate here for dinner. I had the chicken parmigiana over a bed of linguine noodles. the server was excellent in terms of answering any questions we had about various dishes on the menu. he was attentive and friendly. he didn't hover over us, so we didn't have a burdensome server. we got our meals together and all of our portions sans the kids menu were large and generous. My meal came with garlic toast. My entree was so delicious and exceeded my expectations in terms of quality. The cost was about what I wohld expect from a nice, modern restaurant. My friends were all impressed with how good their food was and mentioned that they had to make another stop here the next time they were in Cedar Rapids.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu with appropriate portion sizes

We were a party of 5 and our food was good, prime rib was dry but mashed potatoes were amazing. Apparently they were having a company party that night and it was sooo noisy We could not hear each other as well as the waitress could not hear us. The party ended up coming over by our table even though they had a private room, which got even louder. It did take awhile to get our food but was understandable with the party. Our server was great and the manager/owner did apologize for the inconvenience.

The Edison Pub and Eatery is exceptional. The food is excellent and there are a variety of options. The owners are very friendly and are from Greece and Albania. A++I highly recommend!

The atmposhere is nice. Good decor and intresting lighting. Some of the booths could be refinished. We visited at a quiet time of the day and had to argue to get the quiet table we wanted. The hostess was a little rude about moving us to another table, eventhough there was only two other tables that were even full in the whole restaurant. The food came out in a good time. It was salty and just ok. I would compare it to Applebee's. The bonesless wings are basically frozen and reheated. The salad was very fresh. The grilled sandwich I got was good but a lot of butter on the bread and a lot of salt in the spread. The mashed potatoes were good and having the skin on was a nice touch. The prime rib was just ok and the green beans were overcooked and in a lot of butter or oil. I will likley not go back. Not a lot of vegerarian options and basically zero vegan options for a meal. We would not choose to go back.

Nice evening spoiled when they charged me a fee because I paid with a credit card. They really should say something when you hand them the card. We could have easily paid another way. Boo hidden fees. Revised review down. I had time to look closely at the receipt from our 20 person dinner. They had 9 seperate additional charges for items like butter for a bake potato etc... do they really serve a bake potato without butter? Charged for mayo for my chicken sandwich etc... disappointed. Bummer really wanted to post a better review.
