I had the gyro, and chilli dog. The gyro was great, the chilli dog had good chilli, not just from a can. The fries are a freshly cut potatos fried, not the processed crap from McDonald's. Very good over all

We took our grandson here. He was delighted at the plane and items inside the restaurant. We loved our chicago hotdogs and fries. We have been here many times and love to eat here when we come to Cedar Rapids.

Greeted when walked in by owner and quick friendly service.
Parking: Though at a busy intersection with heavy traffic flow there is plenty of parking options.
Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking right up by the door. Nice open floorplan and easy accessible tables for wheelchairs.

I’ve enjoyed the Italian Beef every time I have gone. Be prepared for a mage helping of chili cheese if that’s your thing. Fries are fresh cut and lightly salted. Grab more salt if you want that traditional salty fry. Place is cute, but small. More take-out service than dine in.

Surprised it even has 4 stars when my partner & I barely have a 1 star….from high prices to terrible food where to even start…we just ordered a chili dog & the 2 hot dog combo. Both fries in the meals were soggy & tasted like the oil hasn’t been changed in years. The chili dog has ZERO taste & couldn’t take one bite w/out not wanting to gag especially since the hot dog wasn’t even cooked “The chili dog combo was thrown into one box with fries”. Worst 20$ spent on food in quite awhile & sad to see a lot of establishments aren’t caring about how they put out food to their paying customers. Never going back & be careful to others since you might get sick eating from here
Do not eat here. Not a safe environment for children. Unethical and unprofessional owner's. Company forces inexperienced minors to work in kitchen.

Do not go if you are disabled and rely on a service dog or don't want to support a business that will treat someone with a trained service dog like second class.
Yesterday I went there to get a hotdog. I was told by an older man I wasn't welcome there even thought it is the law I am allowed in. He says he will let me stay but not if other people are there. I say it doesn't matter if there are other customers. I have the same rights as them and the ADA even says I'm allowed in restaurants.
He admitted he is aware of the law but his customers wouldn't want to see a well-behaved dog sitting next to it's disabled owner. I'm sorry I'm disabled and rely on a service dog. I truly believe in small businesses but I can't support a small business who is against the disabled community.

Between child labor law violations, rude behavior experienced when asking about additional fees for use of credit card (this was years ago) to how they were oddly able to open so quickly after the flood…just too many reasons to NOT support this business.
