Hey there! 🌟 Just wanted to give a shoutout to "The High Porch" at the Cedar Rapids Airport! Seriously, if you’re ever rushing through, you gotta stop by. Jordan is an absolute legend! He helped me out with my to-go order and was super friendly—like, best vibes ever! 😄 He packed my food perfectly, and it was all ready to go in no time. Jose did an excellent job as a server. Chicken quesedilla has been better in the past. Cheese curds could use less batter. Drinks were excellent, $17.75 for an Irish Mule 😯 3Jan25

Advertise drink. We order drink. Bartender says he doesn't have time to make the drink he is backed up. How is it not batched? How is there no prep?

Waited for 45 minutes and was never once approached by the server who promptly approached every other table and served them.

It was extremely disappointing and I'd highly reccomend avoiding this establishment like the plague.

Closed at 7 PM for some reason. Why have a bar in an airport if it’s not going to be open when flights leave?

Avelo Airlines could someday be a possibility for the Eastern Iowa Airport.

Server says the owner knows and does not care.

I care! I just wasted 15 minutes of my life trying to get it to work.

It’s airport food. For airport food it’s pretty good. Service is good and plenty of seating.

Supposedly open until 8pm, closed at 5:30, along with the only other restaurant and shop.

I’m given this five stars because it’s an airport bar and it does everything it’s supposed to. That being said, please do not eat the standard chips that come with most of your sandwiches. Those are disgusting. Either pay for french fries or just don’t touch the chips. There seemedto be plenty of wait staff, and they did their best to take care of customers.

Food was good - bar food. The two waiters on duty must have been playing good bartender/bad bartender. One had a very outgoing personality and offered to modify the premixed drink for me; the other seemed bitter and upset at having to interact with customers - from her body language and comments under her breath about my request and other customers. Atmosphere... Cable TV was out, no music piped in.

In route to Nashville stopped here for a beer. Very expensive but great service and the area is very clean.
