Sad to see this place close. Always felt welcomed at the bar. Dylan was always personable and made excellent drinks. Hope they are able to reopen in the future.

Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food was amazing as well. There were 5 of us and all of us got something different. I decided to get the Chicken and waffles with Maple syrup. Chicken was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

Found this restaurant through Yelp and it was a find! We were on our way to a funeral service out of town. We had to wait for a bit, so when we were seated we told the waitress that and she was most accommodating (wish I remembered her name - super nice). Several times different staff thanked us for waiting. The service was great and the food awesome. Portions were large - we easily could have shared. Coffee was French pressed which was a nice surprise. Very glad we waited!

This is one of those situations were words fall short of what I would really like to say. But if you want a really good quality dining experience with good people this is where you want to be. Will & Jill you and your crew do a hell of an awesome job.

A little torn. The appetizers were really good (we got the bulgogi steamed buns and the soft shell crab), but the rest of the night was weird. There was one server, and that meant we went a while without water or drink refills. She also kind of s*** talked my friend's old fashioned order. The bar then made that old fashioned with the wrong whiskey (the smokier High West) and when we told the bartender he told us "that's what we have" despite High West's American Prairie being in the menu. The Chana masala was dry. Anyhow. Probably won't come back. Wasn't the worst thing we've ever eaten.

Great spot. Ate dinner here with a colleague after work on Tuesday. Blew my expectations. It was a quiet night so easy to sit and grab a drink. Ordered the old fashioned and it was perfectly crafted. The food, my goodness the food was the showcase. Artisanal salads was delish. I ordered the pork belly sharing plate and the monk fish main. They were beautifully plated and full of flavor. Been back there many times now and it's been always consistent. Really a great spot in the newbo area. Highly recommend.

My husband and I visited for lunch today and were blown away by the menu. We were especially excited about the current Japanese inspired dishes - and every single one was AMAZING!! We had the Bread Curry, Furikake Fries, and House Spam. The owners came out to chat and were very knowledgable. The two different craft cocktails I ordered were phenomenal. (Especially the turmeric + ginger one!!!) I highly suggest this restaurant!!! We cannot wait to go back!!!

One of CR's best, the menu is creative, the food is consistently good with many locally sourced ingredients, and the cocktails are wonderful. We also really appreciate the more than adequate local craft brew offering. P&P has one of the best burgers in town.

A nice smallish restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating. Staff was very attentive and my gluten free friend was able to make selections. It was quiet when we were there for lunch so we were able to visit. Could get noisy when full. Menu is a bit unique. The kitchen is open to the dining area. Will try this place again -- maybe for an evening meal. In the New Bo District so there are a variety of shops & artist galleries nearby.

Me and my boyfriend have been here 3 times now and every time we had the best service. We always sat next to the kitchen and got the pleasure of meeting the owner twice. He was so polite and took time to answer all of our silly questions while he was cooking. Would go back again and again.

Brought a party of four here for brunch on Sunday and the service was terrible. Our waitress was snarky and impolite every time she spoke with us. We caught her rolling her eyes at us a few times. Never offered to refill any of our drinks. I asked for a spoon for my coffee and she brought an giant oversized serving spoon. I thought maybe it was a mistake or a joke. I asked for a smaller spoon and she said they didn't have any regular spoons. Someone else in our party asked if they made a wine spritzer and the waitress just stared at her blankly. No words, nothing. She just stared with an angry look. Why act like this? Been a long time since I had service this bad and I'm very disappointed I brought people here. If you as an establishment cant train your employees to be respectful to the patrons spending their money here then you shouldn't be in business.

Hubby's sister recommended this place so decided to go here for Sunday brunch before heading back home to MN. It's a small place but comfy/cozy with a rustic vibe to it which I liked. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food was amazing as well. There were 5 of us and all of us got something different. I decided to get the Chicken and waffles with Maple syrup. Chicken was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Maple syrup was perfect with it and had a little kick to it. Didn't get to try any of the other dishes but they all looked delicious. We would definitely be back when we are in town again.

We love the Pig and Porter for date night. Their seasonal menus make for a fun, new experience everytime we go. Spring 2019 was not my favorite though. (Braised chicken with pistachio mole, Halloumi cheese, carrot cake, seared cod) Each dish was just a touch too simple. I have liked the spicier, more seasoned dishes in the past. There was one dish that stood out the entire night though, the seared cod and miso cream sauce. Delicious! We will be going back soon to try the summer menu and hope to see some traditional P+P flare.
