I had interrupt to request that I pay the check as he was arguing with my accompanying friend about whether or not they charged in the past for substituting lo mein noodles for rice.

The food was completely bland, the noodles are overcooked and tasteless and mushy. All I could taste was seed oil in all of it. The spring rolls had cabbage in it that felt like it was old cabbage. It was super crunchy and stringy. The dipping sauce for the pot stickers was highly vinegar and tasted sour. No flavor. A total waste of money.

CROOKS!! Ordered Hot brasied shrimp without the breading and added fried rice ( up charge of $10 for both.) Total cost of entree was about $30. When I received the order they had given me unbreaded chicken instead of the shrimp. I called and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and told him we’d be in for the correct entree. We arrived a few minutes before they closed. When my husband took the food back in to have it replaced the owner/manager told him the kitchen was CLOSED!! He proceeded to tell my husband to contact door dash because it was their fault for not checking the food before they took it. What?!!! So Door Dash is supposed to open each container of food to verify it’s correct??!! That is wrong!!! Red Lantern served me a $15 entree after I paid $30 for a different entree. Took my money and blamed it on Door Dash. They had a chance to make it right and CHOSE not to even with the receipt.
I will never do business with Red Lantern again and I do not recommend them to anyone.
I have been going to Red Lantern for the past 16 years. This was the last.

Sizzling shrimp the best, but last night rice was not done, cold and hard to chew. Did not sizzle. And if it’s the owner on Thursday night, no personality at all. Told her the food was great and no comment. Get your act together. You are one of the best.

Service and atmosphere was great. It’s a really small, homely restaurant that was easy to get in and out of. Was served very quickly. Only critique is the serving sizes. I feel like you could get more for the same amount of money elsewhere. But other than that it was ok.

The garlic chicken barely had sauce or flavor according to my husband.
This is probably my favorite Chinese food place in town. The service was just absolutely awesome from beginning to end. The food is extraordinary. The lunch specials are just the right amount to fill you up. The Crab Rangoon is perfect. I most definite will be going back. Even if it is across town from me, it is well worth it!

It won't let me upload pictures sadly. Paid extra for low mein noodles and received plain noodles. Zero seasoning or sauce. Also paid for fried rice versus white rice, which was flavorless and over cooked. The dipping sauce for our dumplings was tiny. I was originally upset to see that at first, until I ate one. I didn't want seconds. Couldn't be more disappointed in our $60 order. Skip this place and go on to the next.
