It took me an hour and 18 minutes to get there. The atmosphere was great. The service was great, but the food was terrible. They do not put the barbecue sauce on the meat. The ribs was OK for a little tender, but they was also dry. They didn’t have no love into them had no flavor. The sauce was nasty. The macaroni was disgusting and they served me some potatoes whatever that was bland and disgusting And they did not give me my beef brisket that I ordered only the four dry ribs. It was a lazy put together order I do not appreciate that. They did not put any love into that food at all. I would never go back to that restaurant again. I grade this food F and it seem like the ribs was cooked the day before the macaroni was blend and had no cheese in it. It was just terrible all the way around everything on that menu was disgusting

We dined in on Friday night (Jan 10th). We ordered the 2 meats (brisket/pulled pork) and 2 sides (corn bread/cheesy potatoes) at 5:35, but didn’t get it until 6:45. By then, we asked to have it boxed to go.

Can’t say we’ll be back anytime soon. Disappointed is the phrase of the day. Service was very very slow. Brisket came out cold as did the pulled pork and ribs. Not quite as tender as would have wanted. Flavor good. Took nearly an hour for the food to come out. Didn’t think they’d smoke it to order. Staff seemed more interested in doing other things. Very confused. Price high as well. $47.85 for 2. What the heck happened to this place since they left newbo market?

Low key BBQ place, super friendly staff. We got take out so can’t really speak to dining in. Brisket was great, but the corn bread was our favorite. Perfect texture and flavor, plus a great portion! Everyone seems to rave about the cheesy potatoes…I wasn’t a fan. Not sure there was any “cheese” in the cheesy. Plus they are shredded potatoes. Maybe it’s an Iowa thing, but I was expecting cubed. These really just tasted like frozen hashbrowns, slightly under cooked with way too much paprika on top. But the meat and cornbread was worth it.
I tried it and paid for the buffet. Try before you buy. I'm not a fan of smoked food with no seasonings. The staff is nice. There was No soap in bathroom. The manager was told and he added some. But it was then hard to pump out the soap. SMH...The foil warmers with candle at the bottom were not lit for the buffet. Do I need to say more?

Great food, friendly service, and some good music playing. The pork ribs were outstanding, the wings were tasty. They have 2 for 1 happy hour as well. I also got to try the cornbread. I am not one to usually order cornbread, but it is moist and tasted amazing especially with the jam.
