We went around 4 pm on a Thursday. They had everything on the menu. We got The Meat Tray & The Side Crew, 4 meats & 4 sides for 4 of us. Cashier said it would feed 6 people depending on how hungry we were. It was also Happy hour 2 for 1 drinks. Beers were poured wrong and were half foam, poured both of them at the same time, and then just left our second drinks out to get warm. Food came out, and it wasn't even enough to feed 3 people. There are no plates or bowls at all, which we found really odd. Food ranged from good to decent, nothing spectaclar, but nothing that wasn't edible. Service was absolutely horrible. We were excited, hoping that there was going to be a good BBQ restaurant in CR as we eat them in every city we go. For the price, we will never go back.

Absolutely the worst BBQ in town. No smoke flavor, no rub flavor. No flavor of any kind. Meat was soaking in fat, pretty sure the brisket is actually chuck roast. Pulled pork was inedible. Sides were terrible. I believe this is crock pot BBQ. Never saw a smoker. For the love of god, don’t waste your money here.

Absolutely amazing barbecue. Ribs and pulled pork were some of the best barbecue I've ever had. I highly recommend!

At Up In Smoke BBQ the cornbread was amazingly moist and delicious. The brisket was very good. I tried all the sauces; the blueberry habanero was very good. Phish was playing overhead. Owner was very friendly.

First time visiting and had a great lunch. My husband and I shared the 3 sampler and got the brisket, pulled pork and chicken. All the meats were great, but I particularly loved the brisket. Great flavor and very tender. The cheesy potatoes were so good ..could make a meal off those alone! Also enjoyed the cornbread and it was a large serving! Will definitely be back!

Barbecue ribs are pretty much my favorite thing in the world, when it comes to food and I've said for some time this town needs a great barbecue restaurant. So, I was excited to give Up In Smoke a try. Sadly, we seem to have picked the wrong day to show up. When we came in, around five o'clock on a Saturday evening, the guy at the counter informed us they were out of ribs (he added they had two bones left, but... yeah, that won't do). They were out of several other items, too. Hence the low score I'm giving. It's highly disappointing to show up to a barbecue restaurant and hear they are out of ribs and brisket and mac & cheese, etc.So, I got a pulled pork sandwich and while it was good, it wasn't really what I was hungry for. It came with a small portion of Cole slaw, which wasn't great. Mostly bland and a little salty. Not really what I expect in slaw. I tried two of their sauces on my sandwich. The blueberry habanero (I think that's what it was) was pretty good, but I was expecting a bit of a kick from the habanero. Didn't feel it. It was more like a blueberry sauce. Again, it was good, so that's fine. The original barbecue sauce is also good. I actually preferred the blueberry.I got some cornbread, too. It was huge! I couldn't quite place why it was different than most cornbread I've had, other than it was nice and moist, instead of being dry and crumbly. It had a good flavor, almost like a cake. So, no, it's not much like most cornbread, but it was still quite tasty and I enjoyed it.My wife had the chicken and apparently the last chicken they had for the night. She enjoyed it and also loved the cornbread. While we were eating other groups came in and the gentleman at the counter was telling them that they were out of everything but hot dogs. Shortly before we left, he said he was closing up for the night as they were out of nearly everything. So, yeah, the food we could have was good enough I'd like to go back. Just very disappointed that the menu options were so limited. Hopefully on our next visit they'll at least have some ribs in and, with any luck, I can come back and give them a higher score.

Wowie wow wow. BBQ was spot on, price point is where it should be for quality barbecue. The Chipotle BBQ sauce will be my goto fer sure. Definitely worth your hard earned dollars and it's local which is important.

A great place to grab a quick bite. Food was served quickly, tasted great, and with amazing service. I will definitely be returning.
Never got our food, they "lost" our ticket, and then gave away the food we had ordered to people to ordered after us so they were then out of the items we ordered. After 45 min and multiple other people pointing out we hadn't been served yet, they finally realized someone messed up. We left hungry and won't be attempting again.
