They have the vibes, but the cappuccino was lacking in its main job. Being tasty.It tasted mostly like milk, I don’t know if the foam is on purpose for them. I know I like my cappuccinos without foam. I finished it because I paid for it.I appreciate the church using this, I imagine, as a form of potential for ministry/missions, but based on coffee (or cappuccino) quality it was lackluster

Update: This coffee shop has opened under new ownership.We had some amazing treats here today. Our favorite were the cinnamon rolls and homemade blueberry butter spread on toast. this place is unique for the large tables and huge windows that let in sunlight. Definitely a place I could get some work done or find a corner nook for a chat with a good friend.

Words cannot even begin to express just how happy I am that I found Veritas. I came here on a whim on a random Sunday around Easter and never looked back. Veritas offers a very modern look, upbeat, honest and entertain sermon, but maintains an old school message. They preach directly from the bible which makes their message very transparent. There is also a HUGE lack of begging for money. No baskets are passed and there are no reminders to put some cash in the tithe. It's refreshing to say the least. My 11 year old daughter is also involved with the middle school youth program and absolutely loves seeing all of her friends and church leaders every Wednesday night. (The pizza dinner is an added bonus) If you are searching... for something missing in your life.... for a place to call home... for friends... for a relationship with Christ.... Give Veritas a try.

We love Veritas in Cedar Rapids. My brother and his family attend here. Whenever we visit from Missouri, we go here with them and enjoy it every time. Strong doctrine, great music, friendly people, great facility...always enjoyable.

Attended this church for the first time this morning. It's located in a great part of downtown. Plenty of street parking and parking ramp. Walk up to smiling faces and people who are sincerely happy to be there and be around people. Head through the front doors to an open contemporary layout with ample seating and coffee available. There are many families around, young and old. The children's area seems organized and controlled. Enter into the auditorium with good worship/spoken word happening, people standing, and hunger and freedom are tangible. There was a guest speaker from an affiliated church on this day and he was great. Message was very relevant, he referenced the Bible a lot, and closed with a practical charge. I am from out of town and only visiting but it was a great experience and there were a lot of opportunities to get involved! Keep up the great work!
