Every bite was an ecstatic experience. My boyfriend and I both agreed, it's the best food we've ever had, anywhere, bar none. I highly recommend the lasagna. Lovely staff, as well.
First and last time customers. Who the hell charges for a soda refill? Soda alone was $10. If you offer a $40 steak you should probably know how to prepare it. Steak was just blah, no flavor behind it. Wife's dish was the same, no taste to it. The bread they serve is very much like the garlic bread you take and bake from the grocery store. Overall take, too expensive for what it is. $109 out the door.
The atmosphere is cool, but the food sucks. The fettuccine Alfredo was bland and didn’t taste good, and the pasta with pesto had no flavor. Also the garlic bread they give you seems like the stuff you’d get frozen from the grocery store. Not worth it.
Pretty cool place but service was extremely slow. The food was good but not great.
We had a wonderful time at Vino's on a Tuesday night . The bar/library dining was really cool . Dimly lite which was perfect . We had a bottle of Malbec , Chicken parmesan (fantastic) and the insalata caprese app. and the famous bread . I tell you the BREAD is so good . What a fantastic meal. Our server (apologies for not remembering your name ) was great.
All in all you need to eat here or your missing out . We will be back .
Amazing.
Upon reading some of the other reviews, it appears quite a few people have had the same issue with service as we did. We had a reservation for a group of 8 of us. Sat for over 20 minutes waiting for a server or anyone on staff to acknowledge our table and grab our drink orders. Servers constantly walking by us. The hostess that sat us doing the same thing. We finally grabbed the hostess attention (who was on her phone) and asked if we had a server. Finally a waitress came over and said she hadn't seen us nor did she know we were her table. I'm not sure how you miss the largest group in the very small restaurant? I don't know if it was the hostess at fault or the server but it seems they need to have better communication when a table gets seated. Once we finally had a server she did a good job taking care of us. The food was ok. A little bland for my liking but overall decent.
The more authentic Italian entrees were delicious. The bread served was just okay. The service was very attentive and excellent. The Book Room where we were seated had more of a European feel with the seating (close together) which was neat, until the elder group on one side was whining about the server and other side was discussing a family conflict. We decided that although the desserts looked good, we were done being in-between drama. It was great food though!
Another hidden gem so much so the entrance lobby appears as a library and the dim lighting and library atmosphere is one of a kind experience!
One of the worst experiences we've ever had at a restaurant.

Have visited a few times, always enjoyed the food and atmosphere!! Recently my boyfriend planned us a date night here and we weren’t sadly disappointed with the server we had 🙁 and left before even ordering.. unfortunate night..
Very enjoyable evening of quiet conversation with my cousin as I visited from Florida. Our food was yummy, large servings (we should have shared as we took home over 1/2).. the server was nice, and took good care of our order, and saw to it we were happy with our meal. I ordered the salmon, she ordered pasta.
I recommend Vino's Ristorante in Cedar Rapids. Iowa.

Visit with a friend. Beautiful atmosphere but the service was terrible. There was only two couples in the building but sat me all the way in the back by the kitchen. (??♀️No big deal). They turned on everybody little lamps but ours again (??♀️ no big deal). I asked if they could make virgin drinks the server and manager seem unhappy about my request but I thought maybe I'm reading into things. I was told what I order was really rich but they brought me bland dry bread. When my food was served I shared with the waiter I didn't like what was served. She was appalled, walked away, and told the kitchen give table 46 their check and get them out of here. The original waiter brought the check still charging me for food they snatched (rudely) away from us. I had asked for a manager and my friend asked was the manager the one that just said "give table 46 their check and get them out of here". She said "yes" and went in the kitchen and repeated what she asked her. One of the males in the kitchen said "if they want to talk to the manager I'll go out there", as if she was making some kind of issue. When we left the manager tried to bump into my friend purposely. She stepped out of her way. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone but honestly I wouldn't recommend it to black people because everyone else that came in after us was treated awesome.

Had dinner there last night. I have been there many times and I always get the NY strip steak because I belive it to be the best in town. Well, last night was a different story.
I ordered the steak medium rare. It came out medium well to well, and Nothing but gristle., it was the worst steak I have ever had..... For thirty two dollars, vino's should be embarrassed....
