THE QUESTION YOU WANT TO ASK IS, IS IT WORTH THE WAIT? O.M.G "YES" IT IS❤️ IT'S A MUST MY FAMILY AND I COME BACK HERE . SINCE NY FIANCE DOESN'T EAT RICE HE DEFINITELY GOT A GREAT SUBSTITUTION. 👍 PLANTAIN I HAVEN'T BEEN A FAN OF PERSONALLY EATING AT RESTAURANTS, BUT......... HAVING THE PLEASURE TO AT LEAST TRYING ONE MADE ME SMILE INSIDE, BECAUSE NOT ONLY OUR WONDERFUL SERVER WAWA BOUGHT IT FOOD OUT TO US, BUT YOU CAN DEFINITELY TASTE THE "LOVE". MY RIBS WHERE SO TINDER ,AND JUICE, AND WELL SEASONED, MY PAPAYA SHAKE WAS 😋 A PERFECT 10/10. ANYTIME I HAVE TO COME BACK TO IOWA CITY FOR MY SURGERY AND FOLLOW UP APPT, THIS PLACE IS 100% WORTH THE EXTRA TRAVEL BEFORE DRIVING BACK HOME WHICH IS IN DES MOINES. I TOTALLY WISH WE HAD A WAWA LOCATION HERE, BECAUSE WE WOULD DEFINITELY BE A REGULAR LOL. PLEASE STOP BY AND EAT HERE, AND SHOW LOVE BECAUSE ITS NOT THE EASIEST MAKING EVERYTHING BY HAND, IT'S VERY TIME CONSUMING AND PURE LOVE POURING INTO YOUR PLATES YOU RECEIVE. THE ONLY THINGS I HATE I FORGOT TO ORDER WERE PRESCIOUS JAMAICAN PATTIES 😒 I WAS IN PAIN THEN..... AND FORGOT ALL ABOUT IT. THE MAIN THING IS I WAS HAPPY ANYWAY JUST TO SEE AND TASTE AUTHENTIC FOOD AND NOT GET SICK FROM IT. THANK YOU WAWA 😊 SEE YOU SOON !!

To those of you that have been wanting to come here or may be concerned about parking, it's plenty of parking spaces available, more restaurants and stores nearby, also this restaurant has highchairs available, wheelchair ramp I have not gotten the chance to see if one available, but I do believe it is available as well. I hope this helps someone .

I've only been once, and only had the jerk chicken meal, but it was absolutely delicious with very generous portions for the price. Came in hungry, left fat and happy. Side note, most restaurants around here are too scared to put the proper amount of chili peppers in a recipe.. This place isn't, so you might want to order an extra drink.

They get me right every time

First.....waited at the register for a few minutes, then hit the call bell. Still took 5 minutes to be acknowledged. Some random lady who was disheveled went behind the counter and stood there for a time...then asked, "You here to pick up?", I said No, I need to order. It still took about 5 more minutes for someone to take my order. They were very cut and very. Customer service lacking. I drove from cedar falls to purchase food...grav mistake. Took 40 minutes to get my order. I wanted the red snapper but the customer service made me not order it as I refuse to give the bounty of my income to a place that lacks in customer service. Anyhow. When my order was up. The gentleman packed it up. He didn't signal me or anything. I assumed it was mine because I ordered a side of pasta. Got back to my spot. Everything is lacking flavor. Waste of a drive.

Nice friendly staff, I didn't know they offered dine in option until the lady asked if I was going to have my food there. She went back to the kitchen and brought my food served in a plate with a knife and fork and other amenities. Their dine in experience is something I'll definitely do again. Thanks for the great service and great food 😁.

I love the food here, spicy just the way I like it, I usually get the jerk chicken meal , its a quarter chicken and rice and that tastes like it was cooked by the food gods, meat is fall off the bone, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.I believe th place is run by a couple, she is very friendly he not so much. I have eaten here multiple times and even had them cater for my son's graduation. Food is pretty consistent and always good. the price is great for the portion size.

Best jerk chicken I’ve ever had, get the jerk cabbage too! Everything is delicious, and she was very accommodating for gluten allergy! For a gf option the lentil meal was 😍😍
