“I love the Aromas Coffee shop rosters in Charles City, Iowa!!! Brazil Sierra Negra roasted whole beans, very uniform, very little chaff are Divine!! My newest espresso maker The Breville Barista Touch Impress grinds these beans to perfection for my espresso in the morning . And cappuccino in the afternoon The shipping was fast for my second order! Got my Brazil in time. I am hooked on Aromas coffee Roasters!!”

“We came at a slower time and had the privilege of eating out on the patio. The sound of the cedar river was really nice. Our waitress Faith was delightful. I got the standard burger whose name eludes me. it was fresh and juicy, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned. The veg was fresh. It came with Sidewinders, which were good and Cole Slaw, which was like KFC slaw, sweet and with lots of sauce. Loved it. My wife got the grilled cheese which was very unique, with an almost fluffy cheese texture, courtesy of some sort of atypical cheese. It was very cheesy! Not my typical favorite, but very good. She had a side salad and sweet potato fries. No complaints. We also tried the cheese curds, which were salty and delicious. You can tell the Beef Tallow difference. The food is a solid 7.5/10. The service, both speed and personality, is a 9/10. The entire meal cost just over 40$, which is an 8/10 in my book. A combo meal ranges from 12-16 with 2 sides. Who can complain??? And 1$ for canned pop. Love it! All told, I rate Hot Shots a rock-steady 8/10. We will be back. We will ask for Faith. Hot shots, GET IN!”

“Great food and great prices, I had a BLT that I thought was a little pricey but I had a craving, let me tell you that BLT was worth every penny.....piles of crispy bacon cooked to perfection was what I found on my sandwich to my delight, its kinda nice to receive a BLT sandwich with the same amount of bacon as what you would make for yourself at home, there were 10 of us and every person was very happy with their food order, worth stopping by”

“The only reason I'm docking them a star is because depending on the staff, you might get a blended drink that has a bunch of unground ice in the bottom, which makes it difficult to drink it.

Otherwise, we love all the staff there. Especially one lady that I wish I knew the name of.. when I find out, I will update this. Overall, pretty awesome joint!”

“First can’t say enough good things about our trip to your Bowling Center. Food was delicious, haven’t had a good burger like that in years, your ranch dressing is amazing. I wish the resteraunt was open for dinner since the interior is so cool, but the most important thing is the food and the takeout is always perfect eating temperature so I can't complain. Get the chicken broccoli, it's so good, I didn't realize how much I loved bamboo shoots until I had this dish. Plus the egg drop soup is like 100 times better than any recipe I can make at home, I've tried. 10/10 I keep coming back again and again.”

“I ordered my order online and i had the wrong location for the order. So of course i tried calling n several times, no answer. So now im out 50 dollars n didnt get food cuz it was 50 miles away. Called next day talked to one of managers, cant remember her name about a refund i didnt expect to get one since i messed up the location, BUT they had no problem refunding my money. Thank u and fyi the number google has for u isnt working u mght wana take it off the website. Thanks again”

“Food is always delicious, and the ice was good. Had a banana split, there was maybe a teaspoon of whip cream on it and no nuts.

“I ordered online on the McD app for drive-thru. I used a 25% off deal through the app for mobile. We decided to eat inside. Customer service was excellent! The young man figured out what needed to be done. it was obvious to me (I have extensive customer service experience) that he was a problem solver. I was quite impressed. He exceeded my expectations. I wish I'd gotten his name. This was on a Friday morning around 10:15 am. He had dark hair and black-framed glasses. (That may be his regular shift.) We had breakfast items and they were standard McD's items. My friend's grandson loved it.”

“We were on the way home from Osage. The BBQ place we like in Osage went out of business, so we opted to stop here.
At first, we weren't impressed as its a small. Worn looking truck stop, went in and all booth seats were dirty, so we sat at a table.
There were several sitting at others and only 1 waitress. She ended up being very quick and efficient. She cleaned all the booths, took orders for several tables, got drink refills, checked on all tables (before we ordered there were 10-12 tables full. She served all with ease.
Food was great, husband had breakfast (served all day), i had the club, it was one of the best Ive had. It was not made with thin lunch meat, but a medium slice of ham, real turkey breast and very flavorful bacon.
All it was missing was mayo.
We will definitely eat there again if in the area.
The menu is quite large foe a small place as well.”
