Really fast food and wonderful service I would recommend for people that are new to Italian.
I was recommended this place by friends. If you want fast this is definitely not the place for you. We waited over an hour and a half for our one pizza. It wasn’t busy when we arrived and people who got here after us got their food and left before we even got our pizza. The garlic bread isn’t worth it. It’s just cheap white bread with butter. I couldn’t taste the garlic at all and it was burnt. 6 slices for 11 dollars not worth it. You’re better off going to Walmarts frozen food section. By far one of the worst dinning experiences of my life.
The place was not busy when we arrived. Several tables available, several staff members working. However, we only had to wait a few minutes to get a table but then our bad experience started from there. The waitress was nice and got our drinks right away but then we didnt see her at our table for 20 minutes. We ordered our food and got our garlic bread 10 minutes later... 10 minutes for 6 slices of white bread that was burnt and had very little butter on it and no garlic flavor. 11 dollars for that!? Then we wait for almost an hour before we get told our pizza still had yet to be made even though we got here sooner than half the people that were in here. Waitress told us a large party placed an order and they were working on that... we ordered first by almost an hour. We got there at 5:20 and there were only 6 tables being waited on. By 7, we still had not received our pizza.
Lemonade tasted like minute maid and its got so much ice in it you barely get any drink. 4 dollars for 4 or 5 ounces of lemonade??? Not worth the wait. No matter how good the food is the experience that you are given is not worth it.

GeJos is an absolute MUST for anyone living in or visiting North Iowa and Clear Lake. Their service has remained consistent over the decades, and the team makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Their entire menu is truly crave-worthy, but the pizza is a standout—fresh, cheesy, and authentically homemade with a perfect bubbly crust. If you’re unsure what to order, go with the Mile High (savory sausage, cream cheese, and if you like spicy, ask for their famous hot peppers on top)... so good. The Italian margaritas taste like summer—foamy, crisp, and refreshing! Portions are large and filling, but do yourself a favor and take dessert to go. Though summer can get busy, they always do their best to accommodate as many guests as they can. Eating outside on the patio with a view of the lake is a relaxing summer pastime, and dining inside is cozy and inviting too—it never gets old browsing the signatures of famous guests that decorate the walls. It's easy to understand why GeJos Clear Lake is the favorite of so many!

GeJo’s was absolutely phenomenal! Italian eggrolls, GeJo’s Special, and Hawaiian were all handmade and delicious! The owner sat with us multiple times and chatted to make sure everything was well loved. You can definitely tell he has poured his heart and soul into restaurant with his family’s recipes! Thank you Gene!

We love GeJo's. For over 25 years, several generations of our family are lovers of their pizza & pastas. We visit there when staying in Clear Lake and this Saturday we'll eat their before heading back to Des Moines from a day trip. It's a must stop.
My drink is made to perfection

Hate to blame the Server but it took about 1 1/2 hours to get our dinner.
Out of several items....NO LASAGNA?
What's the deal on that. way over priced. But has a great location for outside dining. No rush for me to come back.

We've been wanting to go to this place for a while, but since it's closed more often than not, we've never had the chance until today. Not only did we have to wait half an hour for one simple pizza, the food was very disappointing and we were charged 60 dollars for one pizza and two drinks. 15 dollars per drink and the server didn't give us the option to order the smaller drinks and assumed we wanted the big ones (again, we didn't know they'd pick the bigger drink option since this was our first time here). So when we pointed this out, we only got 5 dollars off. 5 whole dollars for one of the most disappointing experiences at a restaurant.
Overpriced and subpar was our experience so we will not be coming back. Don't waste your time here and pick another spot

It can't be that great if you're only open 1 day per week! Move out for something better, please! Every time we come to town they're closed! Waste of profitable space! Let someone that wants to actually work in there

Food and drink was pretty pricy. With 3 drinks, 2 entrees, & one appetizer it was $100. However, food was delicious, staff was friendly & attententive. Service was quick even on a busy day. Just wished it was airconditioned!
