“In town for a business meeting. Met here for dinner - first time here for dinner. What an excellent experience from the moment we walked in the door. First, the interior of the restaurant has an eclectic awesome vibe. Unique and inviting. Tyrell greeted us and seated our party and ultimately Tyrell was also our server. He did an OUTSTANDING job making recommendations from the menu and checked in on us as needed to refresh drinks, etc. The menu offerings are varied and enticing. Our food was excellent. The whole evening was enjoyable with big kudos going to Tyrell and his team. Thank you! We'll be back!”

“We were on a road trip through town looking for lunch and thought this restaurant sounded better than the fast food restaurants in the area - and we were not disappointed! I called and ordered takeout 20 minutes away, and everything was ready and hot when we arrived.

The gal who helped us was very friendly and even offered us ice and drinks to go since it was 90 degrees out. They had a large bathroom that was clean and had a baby changing table. We also used the grassy area by the parking lot to let our dogs stretch their legs.

We ordered 2 sandwiches with fries for only $20 and everything was delicious. It’s also right off the freeway so there was no major detour. You can’t beat that!”

“We were heading home to NE IA from western Iowa coming through Clear Lake. Googled for restaurants looking for a good pizza joint. They nailed it! My bf & I both loved our individual choices, prices were great, and the main gal behind the counter running the show was a hoot! If we ever come back through, we will definitely stop again!”

“This place is an amazing space. Basketball court, pool table, couches, tables, a huge kitchen with a huge island. I hosted my sister's bachelor party here and was pleasantly surprised by all of the amenities and the size.”

“Our food is always good and we enjoy the different choices on the menu, although when prime rib was offered they were almost always out, except one time they just did not have it sliced. I finally did get a serving of it at long last. Have one complaint...the hostess is almost always in the back and people are waiting to pay, sometimes more than one, and there are several waiting to be seated! On our last visit a group of 6 left because they were tired of waiting!! She should be instructed to be out front almost all of the time! However, the wait staff is very friendly. In fact, we have made good friends with one particular waitress, Staci! We usually look forward to eating a Perkin's! One other thing, it is always too cold in there so we must be sure to take a jacket.”

“GeJos is an absolute MUST for anyone living in or visiting North Iowa and Clear Lake. Their service has remained consistent over the decades, and the team makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Their entire menu is truly crave-worthy, but the pizza is a standout—fresh, cheesy, and authentically homemade with a perfect bubbly crust. If you’re unsure what to order, go with the Mile High (savory sausage, cream cheese, and if you like spicy, ask for their famous hot peppers on top)... so good. The Italian margaritas taste like summer—foamy, crisp, and refreshing! Portions are large and filling, but do yourself a favor and take dessert to go. Though summer can get busy, they always do their best to accommodate as many guests as they can. Eating outside on the patio with a view of the lake is a relaxing summer pastime, and dining inside is cozy and inviting too—it never gets old browsing the signatures of famous guests that decorate the walls. It's easy to understand why GeJos Clear Lake is the favorite of so many!”

“They make you take your order at the kiosk but if paying cash then you still have to go up to the terminal, which I find kind of dumb. I'd rather just order through a person when I'm going inside... pretty clean and nice location. Staff was friendly”
