“We were on a road trip through town looking for lunch and thought this restaurant sounded better than the fast food restaurants in the area - and we were not disappointed! I called and ordered takeout 20 minutes away, and everything was ready and hot when we arrived.

The gal who helped us was very friendly and even offered us ice and drinks to go since it was 90 degrees out. They had a large bathroom that was clean and had a baby changing table. We also used the grassy area by the parking lot to let our dogs stretch their legs.

We ordered 2 sandwiches with fries for only $20 and everything was delicious. It’s also right off the freeway so there was no major detour. You can’t beat that!“

“We were traveling through the area but Sevens was recommended by a hotel clerk. It appears to me to be a small tavern/bar where locals gather. The Monday special was 2 burgers and fries for $5. The place was packed. Just a nice place for casual dinner. Prompt service, good food and a taste of local community. Give it a try“

Their service has remained consistent over the decades, and the team makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. Their entire menu is truly crave-worthy, but the pizza is a standout—fresh, cheesy, and authentically homemade with a perfect bubbly crust. If you’re unsure what to order, go with the Mile High (savory sausage, cream cheese, and if you like spicy, ask for their famous hot peppers on top)... so good. The Italian margaritas taste like summer—foamy, crisp, and refreshing! Portions are large and filling, but do yourself a favor and take dessert to go. Though summer can get busy, they always do their best to accommodate as many guests as they can. Eating outside on the patio with a view of the lake is a relaxing summer pastime, and dining inside is cozy and inviting too—it never gets old browsing the signatures of famous guests that decorate the walls. “Food was good typical bar food. We had fish & chips came out nice and hot. No lemon wedge. We also shared the appetizer combo. Shrimp, curds, onion rings, chicken tenders. Nice and hot when served. Then never saw our server again. Had to flag down another server to get our server so we could get our ticket to leave. Never saw one? Gave us a price has a hand held Device to check out with took my card said it didn't work. She needed a different machine. Left with my card came back fumble said we were checked out. Never got a receipt or an opportunity to tip. Hopping she did not help her self. Driving back to MPL just wanted to get on the road.
Did enjoy sitting on the dock listening to a couple of songs before the musician stopped.“

“Haven’t been to a Bennigan’s in years. All the ones out west near me have closed. Both the food and service were fantastic. The garden salad had crisp lettuce and lots of extras that made it even better. The monte cristo sandwich was quite large. Only ate 1/4 of it. The fries were cooked to perfection. The French onion soup was also amazing. Flavor was great and had a generous amount of cheese. Would definitely stop here again when in the area.“

“As a veggie-only person I was initially a little concerned on the menu, but I soon found the veggie burrito and told them to hold off on the cheese. I was pleasantly surprised when this large burrito showed up with tons of different veggies inside...mushrooms, onions, carrots, potatoes, zucchini, and bell peppers, I think. Wow! Now I know why I keep hearing chop chop chopping so much in the kitchen area. I will be back! I pass through here on Monday evenings during a very long commute.“
