Well worth the wait in line! We had a full size Ruben sandwich and full size egg salad sandwich - both were excellent. The Ruben was served hot off a press and was perfectly grilled. The egg salad was creamy, with slices of hard boiled egg present. Two dill pickle spears were include, chilled, crisp and fresh.
A nice selection of salads, ranging from greens to pasta, meat available, were offered. A wide selection of desserts including cookies, lemon bars and more were available. We didn't try either the salads or desserts, but both looked fresh, generous and delectable.
You may need to stand in line for a few minutes but it is worth the wait.

I just had my first muffaletta and it changed my life
Usually a line waiting for this unique, fresh made sandwich shop with interesting shopping choices while you wait. The food is delicious! At checkout there are several decadent dessert choices that do not disappoint! This is a must, if you are in the area. Large portions. Lots leftover for a few more days.

I have visited Clear Lake for many years and never tried Starboard for whatever reasons. They have limited hours during the off season I know. The wait was just under 1 hr and we spent $50 for the two of us. It's expensive but the quality and taste makes up for both of those. Don't miss trying out this place, easily 5 stars.

Starboard has become an annual stop on our way to MN. Wonderful place, incredible people, and some of the best deserts we’ve ever had. Everything is homemade and is definitely worth a stop in Clear Lake to hit up Starboard Market.
Sandwiches were amazing, salads fresh and delicious, and I couldn’t resist a fresh bakery peanut butter bar. Food was flavorful and satisfying. No place to sit inside, but it’s lovely to sit by the lake just a block away, even when it’s cold and you sit in the car.

Stopped to grab a bite on a long road trip and let me tell you, I would come back to visit this town just for this market’s food. The Bella sandwich is phenomenal, it has an incredible punch of roughly ground mustard that made me look forward to taking the next bite while I was still chewing the previous one. Lasagna soup was fantastic, the potato salad was the creamiest and sharpest I’ve had, and we finished it all off with their coconut bar as well as their lemon bar, both of which were soft and dreamy. Genuinely just, wow - 10/10
