Unimpressed. Went on a Friday, waited for water, waited 40 minutes for food that we took to go. Loaded fries had only very thin queso, even though that's not as on their menu. We pointed it out and the waitress stated it was supposed to be like that. Birria tacos also didn't have rice as advertised. Don't go if you need out in a reasonable time.

I probably wouldn’t go here if you have any food allergies.
I ordered online - to begin with, their menu does not list common allergens. I don’t demand that restaurants hardcore cater to people with food allergies (like dedicated kitchen spaces), but listing allergens, especially on a website, is just so easy to do and can at least help folks like me make informed decisions and avoid potentially dangerous situations.
I ordered a dish that I was pretty sure wouldn’t have gluten (I have Celiac disease) but to be sure, I mentioned it in the special instructions. When I picked it up, the person at the front assured me that the dish was gluten free. After taking it home and eating about 25% of it, the restaurant called to inform me that they had accidentally made mine with a gluten-containing ingredient (I’m guessing wheat in the seasoning??) and that they were in the process of preparing a new gluten-free one that I could return to pick up.
Props for the phone call, transparency, and attempt at making things right - but you just can’t be that way with food allergies. It’s lucky for them that eating gluten isn’t a life threatening situation for me and that I’m in a hospital with anaphylaxis or something, but gluten is quite adverse to my health and I’m definitely going to have a rough week this week symptom-wise.
One star to me for thinking I could fly blind at a restaurant that obviously doesn’t think too much about people with food allergies and doesn’t train their staff as such, but a tip to management if they want to stay in the food business: post allergens on your menu (it’s low-hanging fruit) and if you don’t have any confidence that you can avoid poisoning people with special dietary needs, then at least post disclaimers on your website, Toast, and inside the restaurant for guests like me to just avoid your establishment.
Food was amazing! Got the Mahi Mahi tacos!

Literally the best Clear Lake has to offer. Awesome Mexi-Cali bar with great service and high quality food. Can confirm the Mahi Mahi is fresh NOT frozen.

Our server was wonderful. She had a sparkling personality and served everyone well. The food was excellent, and the portions were unexpectedly large. All in all, we had a fantastic experience.
