This was our first time in Clear Lake. What a treat!! We knew this restaurant was THE spot for us. Lindsey was spectacular as well as the rest of the staff. So friendly and accommodating, great wine and menu suggestions. The escargot was superb! Our steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare is our preference). We took our dessert to go - wow! Off the charts!! This may have been our first visit to Clear Lake, but not our last. The Surfside will be our #1 go to for the most amazing...
Love this place! Interesting menu, tasty food, nice staff. I wish I lived closer to go more often. I mean, how many times have you raved about a restaurant's side dish veggies a day later?
We arrived in Clear Lake last night, Saturday, a few minutes before closing and were graciously welcomed by David, the master chef, and his son, Sam, for a fantastic dinner. We had an aged Cab and then crab cakes for an appetizer with stuffed ravioli and filet mignon as entrees. Steph served everything with class and charm. Atmosphere inside was charming; unfortunately, it was too chilly to eat outside on the fenced patio. Highly recommend Surf Side and we will be back!
