We like this restaurant, its Mississippi view, its famous "Chicken George" options, and its inside atmosphere. We enjoy their outside dinning patio as well. Always friendly staff. Always clean well kept dinning and bar area. If we're in Clinton, Candlelight Inn is a must stop.
We got take out after the baseball game. Everyone loved the chicken George! The location being by the river is a bonus. The staff were very courteous and helpful! We will be back again.
We have eaten there many times, while they are a bit on the pricey side, their food is usually good. However, this past visit. Not so much. They messed up our reservations. They wouldn't let us make until after 7p. By 7:10 the place was a cleared out.
