The tamales were fantastic and we also really enjoyed the chicharrones. The service was great, everyone was very helpful.

Lagunas Taqueria & Grocery is a small restaurant inside an authentic Mexican store, located within 30 minutes of Clinton. The food is real Mexican and never disappointing. The salsa’s are all made in house with a great range of flavor, and the creamy orange is #1 with its kick. A Lengua burrito had original cooking, and the homemade / made to order guac is the best since AZ. Tacos are pretty good, held together well, and meaty. Tried 6 different tacos and the shrimp tostado and really loved everything. Tamales and chicharrones are some of the best ever had. The Mexican meat market and dry, canned goods are at reasonable prices. Owners, managers, and young guys are nice, helpful, and provide great customer service.
