Used them for a catering order for a customer visit. While I visit customers, I like to support the local economy and had a great experience with Taste of Italy. They were on time, didn't miss any of the items I ordered, and the entire team I worked with loved it. Will be using Taste of Italy in the future for any customer visits I have out in Des Moines.

My husband brought home an Italian hoagie this morning on a whim and I convinced him to split it with me because it smelled amazing. Well it was the best sandwich either of us had ever had so we immediately went back and got 2 more! We will be back again for more soon!

I have been driving by this place for years but I have always been curious about it! Well the wife and I decided to swing on in for lunch and WOW!! they didn’t disappoint! I got the house special Italian beef with sweet peppers and au jus and it was the best I’ve ever had! The beef was flavorful and juicy with each bite, the peppers were sweet and complemented the beef and cheese nicely and the bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! The au jus was perfect for dipping! Please don’t sleep on this place like I did! The atmosphere was great and the employees were extremely friendly. 10/10 experience today! But seriously the sandwich was no joke!

I got the house special sandwich with Italian sausage on the bottom. It was light and delicious.
As a chef it’s hard to find a nice little place to sit and enjoy a well made meal. The guy making sandwiches was super friendly and helpful. You can definitely taste that he loves what he does.
Had a sub sandwich with a bit of pep to it. Just the right amount of heat with some great flavor. This was my first visit but it will not be my last. Well done!

Such a friendly quaint atmosphere. Best sandwiches for a very good price. Also their frozen goods are great! I love buying their pizza crust when they have it and the ravioli. The Vogue sandwich is one of my favorites.
