We have been here twice now and have absolutely loved it and have had great service. The food comes out very fast after you order. There is a lot to choose from on the menu.

Pad see ew noodles was not as tender as I would’ve liked but overall it was flavorful. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. Servers very attentive and even the manager.

This was horrible—the food wasn’t only not for us, it was actively gross. Something was off. The water filter also needed to be changed, the water tasted moldy. We just had a bad experience all around, I tried to contact Cool Basil directly for a resolution but sadly they never got back to me.

I’ve been to Cool Basil many times in the past, with the last time being a couple of years ago. Tonight, we had Chicken Fried Rice and Sweet Basil Shrimp, neither were any good. Very disappointing as this place used to be so good.

Dissatisfied with my visit today. I waited for service for over ten minutes before I asked to be seated in the main room. The food was not good at all. Everything here is usually great. I’m concerned

For being twice as expensive as Tsing Tsao on 100th st, i was expecting higher quality. There were small flying gnats everywhere & ruined my rice. The main dish was mostly green peppers & celery, so as far as usable leftovers to take home - there werent any. Refills were offered after we stood up to leave.

I've been going to Cool Basil for years. I will never go back after yesterday's experience. I ordered shrimp fried rice. It came out with so many onions, it was inedible. I said something, and they remade it. It was still absolutely full of onions. The rice was literally wet, and the shrimp were inedible. It was mushy and nasty. I didn't eat it. They still made me pay for this complete garbage of a dish, and it was $25 for inedible crap. A manager never bothered to come over. Go to Wasabi or Hana, they are much better restaurants. I ordered the fried rice at Hana, and it was delicious.

Cool Basil has been a long time favorite of my wife and I. We hadn’t been there in a while when we stopped in for lunch today. The atmosphere was noticeably different. They were playing a funky smooth jazz music where every song sounded the same. I liked the previous light/classic rock mix much better. The staff seems to have completely changed since we were last in. We didn’t recognize anyone, whereas we were on a first name basis with much of the previous staff. The service was noticeably slower and less friendly. The food was still very good. I ordered my usual spice level 2 and it was very, very hot. Much hotter than it used to be. I’m just wondering if they are under new ownership or management because it is a very different experience from a year ago. I still recommend Cool Basil, it’s just not the familiar place that we loved anymore.

I usually have this delivered through DoorDash (twice this week) and I've never been disappointed! I love their crab rangoons, sesame chicken, and birthday sushi roll!

Great food and service but too warm inside. The air conditioner couldn't cool the building.
