Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants- Clive

We were seated at our reservation time on a busy Saturday evening. The general atmosphere felt festive and upbeat. We all enjoyed a couple glasses of wine, some appetizers and main course. Wine - my Cabernet was good (I think it was #89), our appetizers tasted good but were barely warm - chicken pot stickers and shrimp with bacon. If they'd been served hot they would have been delicious. My main course was excellent - Gnocchi Alla Vodka. My dad got this as well and we both cleaned our plates at the same moment. Everyone in our party was too stuffed for dessert. Best part of the evening was the food and my only suggestion for a change is that our server had to repeat herself at both ends of the 6 person table because it was just a bit too loud to clearly hear her introductions and menu talk from the opposite side. She had to do a lot of zooming back and forth around other tables just to get to the other side of us. Altering the layout slightly might make it easier for the staff to move around their tables. Hope that makes sense!

The dinner choices, though limited, for a GF limited diet were excellent! The Drunken Shrimp appetizer was FANTASTIC! It was noisy but it was Thanksgiving Day at 5:30 pm. Next year, we will make make much earlier reservations and avoid any 8-year olds who have not been taught acceptable table and restaurant dining behavior. Wait and server staff were excellent. The chef deserves complements for preparation and presentation of our orders.

Our server Mason was excellent. Very knowledgeable and so much fun to talk with. We came for Thanksgiving and we were not disappointed.

It was Thanksgivinv Day, so it was busy which is understandable. I would choose a different restaurant on a holiday as it went from bad to worse.

Food and wine were delicious as always and the service was excellent. We were there to celebrate my daughter's 22nd birthday and she loved the tasting beforehand as well as the family dinner.

Sunday was absolutely perfect, if you get a chance you'd want him as your server. Phenomenal recommendations and camaraderie. 

Great service from the time we walked through the door until we walked out. Our waitress, Maylia was so amazing. She was very upbeat and friendly. My only complaint was all the noise. It was difficult to carry on a. Conversation. Besides the noise all was perfect.

Cooper Hawk never disappoints. In a word, CONSISTENT! Love the menu, the ambience, and the knowledgeable staff. Took my cousin for her birthday and we were treated like royalty. Bravo!

Straight buns, food is terrible and overpriced, just go to Ruth’s Cris instead.

Decor blends modern simplicity with rustic wooden touches

Had a girls night out after work with a couple friends or server Peebles was awesome and attentive to our needs. She made great recommendations and provided great service will be sure to come back again and ask for her as our server!

I love this place. I’ve been in bad moods the last few times I’ve eaten here and being there has put me into better moods. The food is tasty and the wine is delicious.

Still love this place and the crew! They make CH rock!

10/10 recommend. Our server Jara took such good care of us! Never let our drinks go empty, so personable and checked on us frequently. Food was good too.
