We went here for Thanksgiving dinner (2 of us). We were thankful we joined the online waiting list because there was 30+ minutes wait. They were slammed! I saw various groups of people that were accommodated. I ordered the traditional turkey and dressing dinner and my daughter ordered the country fried turkey dinner from their limited dinner menu. I also ordered the chicken n dumplings dinner to see if it tasted any better than my last experience with it...it did not. Chicken...

I'm from Houston Texas, I was in Iowa for a wedding. The service was fantastic, and the food is as satisfying and comfortable as any other location. My daughter asked for chicken tenders before lunch, and even though it's not an option they made it for her. I definitely appreciated that, as she has never eaten at Cracker Barrel before.

Awesome food and service, but i do with that restaurants would stop frying fish in the same oil they do the fries, onion rings or cheese curds. Im allergic to any kind of fish/seafood
