I really dig the spot. Thi chicken pizza really hit the spot. It was everything i wanted it to be. I hope they never change this recipe.

We tried this place out for the first time, and we both agreed that this is our new favorite pizza spot in Des Moines. Pizza and truffle aoili fries were great! Personally loved the Thai Chicken pizza!

Food tastes good but was very *salty*. My saltiness threshold is pretty high so… The waitress (don't know her name, but there was only one tonight 11/26) - was pretty rude and in my opinion should count to 10 before speaking. She is extremely unfiltered to be working at a place that looks this nice.. overhearing her talk with the couple on the table next to mine was painful.

Franka Pizzeria in Clive has become one of my go-to spots for authentic wood-fired pizza. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable easy for a casual dinner, date night, or bringing family. Service is friendly and the food comes out quickly.
Their Tuesday half-price pizza deal is honestly one of the best values in the area!

The restaurant wasn't even half full and yet the service was awful. 3 other tables were seated after us and all 3 had their orders taken with drinks before us. After 25 minutes we just left.

Apparently their service is notoriously slow even when they're dead empty. Also their design is dull and boring. 0/10, don't recommend.

Seems like quality has degraded over time while prices have increased. 67 bucks before a tip for 2 14 inch pizzas and 2 beers.

We are from Wisconsin and in town for an event. And we happed to stumble on one of the best pizzerias we have ever been to. Our family is a huge fan of authentic pizza. Drink and wine menu was good as well.

We would strongly recommend stopping in and trying it for yourself! We will be definitely stopping back. And hopefully get a chance to try the brunch menu.

Franka Pizzeria is a 5 star restaurant!

My wife and I chose Franka as our first dinner together after her kidney transplant last year. We have been back for every dinner in the Des Moines area since. Very consistently the best pizza and service we've found in the Midwest.

Bummed. Ordered via Uber eats. The Caesar salad I received looks nothing like the photo on the menu. Cheese is different, small container of dressing, and no lemon and three croutons. Not worth $14!!!

The pizzas here are excellent! We ordered a 10-inch for the kids and a 14-inch for two adults, and both were full of flavor. The wood-fired oven really makes a difference—you can taste the quality in every bite. The only thing that stood out was the price of the small Caesar salads at $13 each, which felt quite expensive for the portion. Aside from that, everything else was great—good service, tasty food, and a nice experience overall.

Frank might have the best pizza in the Des Moines metro, it's easily at the top of my list. Love their white thyme pizzas, brussel sprouts, wings and delicious cocktails (the spritzer was so light and refreshing when I was there last)!

The margarita pizza is a top notch wood fired Neapolitan pizza. The best in the greater Des Moines area without a doubt. Service and atmosphere was great too. Outdoor seating was great.

We were here on Friday night after move out from ISU. We were seated right away. Busy enough, but not packed.

The place has a hip vibe, somewhat open kitchen and view of wood burning pizza oven.

The food was very tasty. Great and flavorful pizza. And…………. That was about it. Our only apps we wanted were the very tasty and fresh mozz sticks, but we were shorted one (4 on menu).

Our male waiter (forgot name but had tats all over arms) seemed bothered we and others were there. Drink service was subpar as in no refills when asked. No ice in water.
The only saving grace was the blonde female waitress that paid attention to us.

Would like to come back. Might have to ask to NOT have same server.
