John and Nick‘s has always been one of our favorites. We have gone there for years. We especially love sitting in the bar area at the tables with comfy chairs. The weight staff is exceptional, we tip them above and beyond 25%. The food is always excellent. The older gentleman host that greets you at the door needs to leave!!! Never in my life have we ever been asked to get up from the table and move to a “bench” so other people could sit down as we were having our after...
The atmosphere and service were great. However, the food was average at best. I got the special of the evening, chicken parmesan. A warmed up frozen meal from Fairway Grocery would have been just as good. The drinks disappointing. Tasted like jolly ranchers and vodka.
Man who seated us could use a vacation. Permanently preferred. Wasn't very friendly when I told him me and my wife and I didn't prefer to sit in the lounge. I guess the measly 100+ dollars for 2 people to eat wasn't good enough
