Only KFC in the Des Moines area that actually had korean BBQ Saucy Nuggets. Food was also fresh & Manager was very friendly. I Live on the north side of DSM and will now only go to the Clive store for food💯

Received lousy food from this joint in the past and recent reviews state the dismal offerings continue. Against my better judgment, I went with the ten dollar bucket. Arrived to an empty parking lot which wasn’t a good sign. Sauntered inside to pick up the eight piece bird. Employee walks up, I mentioned my name and order. The sad sack simply hands me the goods like it was a daunting task. With glee I thanked him and he aimlessly walks away. Wow. Checked the bucket in the car. The clucked mess appeared to be warmed over frozen Banquet like bird. Bit into a piece and confirmed a total lack of quality and flavor. Worked at KFC back in school days and our chicken was the constant bomb. Always fresh, appealing and delicious. Recent national advertising states the chain is striving for its former excellence. This location I’m said to say, simply sucks.

Got order wrong. Was very pushy told the lady I wasn't done ordering even though she totaled it up asked her to please wait as I wasn't done and was trying to decide what I wanted. Keep rushing me so I gave up and order a cheaper meal then what I wanted. And still got order wrong. Ripped money out of my hand

This is the worst KFC in the area. The gravy has been the consistency of water on a few occasions, they forget items in the drive through, and they give you the wrong items. The chicken is very inconsistent, sometimes old and cold or tiny pieces, but sometimes hot and good. The staff is rude as if I shouldn’t complain about their mistakes. I’ve given them their last chance to get it right. Note to other diners…check all of your food before you leave, even the gravy. Tonight it turned into baked beans. Lol

I rarely write reviews, but tonight I ate dinner inside with some friends, and everything was awesome. The lobby was very clean, music was nice, workers were kind, and service was unbelievably fast. Food was soooo good of course. Service industry is hard work- thank you for doing what you do, and for helping us press the 'easy' button on dinner :)

Extremely disappointed when most of the chicken I received in my family bucket meal and my 8 pc tenders were undercooked. Let's hope my family and I don't get sick. My son my daughter and I all had pieces that were pink. Only things that were cooked properly was our side dishes but the whole point of the meals is the chicken and we couldn't fully enjoy it because we kept biting into undercooked chicken that was still pink in the middle. The lady was super nice and I feel bad that she had to pretty much run the store by herself because she had no help from what my fiance observed. Do better because there no point to me having rewards points to use if I refuse to eat at this establishment ever again.
