My friend and I were looking for a Mexican restaurant mainly for the margaritas. The Shaken Margaritas - OMG and the food - muy Bueno! Already on my list of restaurants to revisit. We will definitely stop by next year for our girls weekend.

I always say it is hard to mess up Mexican food. But they proved me wrong, salsa tastes like spicy spaghetti sauce. Terrible rice no flavor. Slightly poor service.

We were in Clive, spending time with our son who was recovering from surgery. We had dinner at Mi Mexico twice and enjoyed the food, the service and ambiance. Earlier, we had seen the Jalisco crafted chairs at a Mexican Restaurant in Myrtle Beach and were thrilled to see them here. So festive, So Mexico! In walking through the restaurant, I discovered an essay written by a young girl, her review of Mi Mexico. What a pleasure it was to read her review and to I took the time to thank the Host for posting it. If you visit, read the essay. It will do "your heart good!"

This is one of my favorite restaurants! I'm kind of boring and get the same thing every time. I LOOVVEE the pollo a la crema. It's so good! Everyone that works there is super nice. The food is always ready super fast. They have great drinks as well! I love the blue margarita!

Arroz con Pollo is worth the stop. It is outstanding! However, the Fish Enchiladas were mediocre at best with little flavor. Service and atmosphere are very good. The rating is based on the Arroz con Pollo.
