We hadn’t been here in years. We were not impressed Hubs steak was tuff and grisly. They made him another but it was still not great. My halibut was tuff. Salad was iceberg which is just okay. Our server was great. Personable and friendly.

Nick’s is always a win! If you’re there, you are family. The staff truly cares that your experience is spectacular. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is top-notch. Twice a month I meet up with a wonderful friend to sit at the bar, eat some snacks, and enjoy a bourbon or martini while she drinks wine. Even with the rarity of my visits, the bartenders treat me like a regular and work to get to know me. You cannot match the level of service! I typically stay for a short amount of time, eat while I’m there, and also take food home for my high school aged children. The to go food is always perfectly packaged and delicious even if it sits on the counter for a bit while we finish our conversation and settle bills. I cannot recommend Nick’s enough. I almost hate to post this review and ruin the truly beautiful experience.

The service was exceptional. The waitress was quick, efficient, and friendly, managing many tables with ease. She was attentive to refills and prompt. The food arrived quickly, but it was average. I ordered a steak and penne Alfredo. The steak was decent with a nice char, the Alfredo had no flavor, however it was a large portion. Initially, I planned to order takeout, but I decided to dine in instead. Online, the lunch menu listed the steak at $14.99 and the Alfredo at $7.99. However, dining in during lunch hours, the menu prices were $31 for the steak and $15 for the Alfredo. The waiter explained that the online menu was outdated by about 12 years. When the bill came, the steak was listed at $36.50. Unfortunately, this was a bit misleading. What I expected to be a $25 lunch turned into a $60 lunch. Overall, great service, food was okay. Extra star for the service despite the misleading pricing.

The coffee was surprisingly good. I would never expect such good coffee from a regular restaurant just driving through town, but I'll remember that cup for a long time.

The food is always pretty satisfying. Had a steak (rare), rice pilaf, and some steamed veggies.
While everything was fine, our server who was loud and would loudly interrupt TF out of my lady friend and I, which I found rather rude.
If it were once it would be ok, but this was more and disappointing at that.

I want to be clear. I do love Nick's Bar and Grill. I would recommend it for anyone who would like good food, a quiet setting and prices that are very well aligned with what is presented.
