Prime rib was tough and not properly prepared, potato was cooked too long and was dry, and finally the sweet tea isn't sweet they give you artificial sweetener instead

Placed an order online for the bloom burger?? (I think that's what it's called) and fries. I ordered the burger well done but it was still pink inside. Tasted good though. Couldn't get thru all the fries because they were soggy. My strawberry lemonade drink was amazing though. I think that's the only thing that saved my meal.
My friends and I went to outback to enjoy dinner and had horrible service. It took almost 10 minutes for them to bring us our drinks, which of course my husband’s was wrong. Then came the waiting for them to even take our order, which also took a very long time to receive. Mind you they were not busy, there were only two or three other tables seated near us, the rest were empty. The whole time my friend could see our server just sitting and staring at us. The food was subpar, and my husband had a filthy glass. The worse part of the experience was my friend’s child spilling their drink and the server just watching. We didn’t have napkins to clean it up, which we were happy too as it was our mess. We had to ask for them. I would NEVER recommend coming here. I would however recommend the one in Ankeny as I had amazing service there a couple weeks ago.

Double check your to go orders before leaving!! Ordered cheese fries with no bacon to go, checked my order when I went to pick it up and the fries had bacon on them. We told the employee there and she told me it was just “dark cheese”. Got home, opened it up, and inspected and it clearly had bacon on it. This is not the only time this location has messed this up or forgotten food. This time just struck a nerve because we were “guaranteed” there was no bacon. I think I’ve only had 1 time where they’ve gotten my to-go order 100% correct.

Food was amazing. They had one person taking orders for the entire place. We were the only table in there. We waited 10mins to be greeted, we order drinks and apps.. waited til the apps came out .. for her to acknowledge she didn't take our real food order. Than after the food was dropped we didn't see her til the end when we waited another 10-15mins for our check and a box to go..horrible service. great food. It's sad when you see mangers just standing around as well getting the evil eye from tables because your wondering why your not being given great service when NOONE is the restaurant.

Our recent experience was a total disappointment.12 oz P/R steak about 3 oz fat and gristle. Not cooked to order. Not a good cut of meat. Never offered to refill our iced tea drink. Total disappointment in dining. Not good for a $70.00 meal.

We tried this location for a 2nd time. The first time steak came burnt after trying 3 times to get it without blood.. this time it only took 3 times to get our steak cooked to amazing.. it was without blood.. only a line of pink.. our waitress was sweet.. we left and forgot our boxed leftovers.. called back about about an hour later.. our leftover were thrown out and no offer of a redemption to get them .. or a discount on a reorder.. looks like Texas Roadhouse will be our go to for future meals. Totally disappointed in Outback..

Food was good, portions were large. Waiter was friendly. The I had chicken coated in the same batter as the blooming Onions. It was delicious. The steak was great in flavor but had a lot of chewy chunks, bread was great. It was enjoyable.
Dietary restrictions: Staff was very knowledgeable about food, menu was clearly marked.
Parking: Handicap parking clearly marked, ramp at front door. Lots of parking.

We have been there a couple times in the last year and have been very disappointed in the steaks. Wish this restaurant seasoned the steaks like they used too. Our steaks have been blah!

First time here, came to visit because my husband enjoys steaks and we had a gift card. My husband’s medium rare steak was served VERY rare and was fatty, gristly and bland. The shrimp were rubbery, smelled strongly and had a poor taste. My chicken sandwich was adequate, fries under cooked.
We signed up for the rewards program which promises a free bloomin onion appetizer. The email with the coupon hadn't come through, but I had the email confirming I had signed up for rewards. We ordered the bloomin onion- it was very over seasoned and the sauce left a weird taste in the mouth. The server tried to get the managers help to take the bloomin onion off our bill, since we had done the steps to sign up but the manager stated theres nothing they could do since the coupon didn't come through (they said when you sign up online instead of in the store, it can take 2 days to register) and also did not take the app off our bill.
At the table behind us, a gentleman questioned if he got the right size steak that he had ordered. The server agreed it looked small and offered to bring a different one or price adjust- the man agreed to the price adjust. Then the manager came by their table and asked how things were going (didn’t address the size mix up, but seemingly did this just to look at the steak). Then the server came back out (obviously at the manager’s instruction) and apologized but said the steak was the correct size, it just looked small because it was thick and they wouldn’t do the price adjustment they had just promised.
I’ve never written a negative review before but the very poor quality of food combined with the VERY poor customer service on the part of the manager prompted me to share this in the hopes there will be some change. Our server did the best she could- it was clear she was getting no help from her manager who handled things very poorly.

Service was slow, even with almost empty place. Food was good, drinks sat at the bar for quite a while before being delivered. Food was brought out fast, likely because it was someone other than my server. He didn't bring the bread, nor my main course. That's likely why it came fast. Maybe an off night. But it was good food and a fair price. I'd go back and give it another shot.
