Nice place to drop of your nonshopping partner before heading to the Wally Wold across the way. It's quiet, has sweet service, and has a view to the shopping area. One can, relax, read, watch traffic, work on their laptop, and then gather their gear and java as they see their ride coming across the way. Cheers.

We were literally here and they got the wrong drink and we asked to change it NICELY. But she said “it’s your fault so we’re not fixing”…no it wasn’t. The girl named Hailey is the one who said this and gave us sass. They are all lazy rats and hot drink burnt my tongue. Not only that but they also got coffee grinds all over my drink. Will not come back to Starbucks on Buffalo Road, Clive, Iowa.

Tennis Conqueror

This worker was named Hailey at the Buffalo Road location. I saw her making my drink but it was being made hot instead of cold. When I got my drink I told her it was wrong NICELY. She RUDELY told me that it was MY fault and didn’t replace my drink. I can’t drink hot because I just has mouth surgery. She still didn’t replace my drink. Will not be coming back to this location again.

This store is in a really bad spot. Customers in the drive-through are always blocking the entrance/exit to the north, and when supply trucks are there, it's impossible to get to the entrance of the store. Not to mention the actual traffic jams customers create during peak hours while waiting in line for the drive-through. It's much easier going to the starbucks on University.

I come here almost every morning. Some times cash some times debit card. Today I show up with 100$ and get my same order. But today they refused to take my cash. For some reason perfectly fine United States currency doesn’t work now all of a sudden. Then she said she couldn’t give me the change. Okay so give me a gift card, raise my total. Still refused. Way to really ruin someone’s day. I will never spend another dollar at Starbucks

I accidentally ordered for pick up not knowing there were 2 Starbucks within 1 block of each other so I went to pick it up after shopping for groceries and it was at the other one paid for. So I was charged almost 20 bucks bc they couldn't honor that id already paid at the one a block away, so I had to pay again. The drink was good and I'm a rewards member with a lot of stars but I may be looking into Dunkin donuts for the future coffee stops or anyone have any other suggestions that if you make a mistake they will help you fix it? Thanks

Drink tasted good. The workers are lazy and rude though. Will not be going here again. Not sure what the deal is. Also gave me my hot drink without a cover, and it was so hot it's burning my hand to hold it. Worst experience I've had at a Starbucks in years. Wild to charge $7 a drink for a bad experience, and without a tiny cheap cardboard cover so you don't hurt yourself. Just have coffee at home guys! Zero attitude, cheaper, and you won't burn your hand.

I placed a mobile order for a drink while at the bank on 22nd and University. The app gave me a pickup time of 10:06. I arrived at the drive-thru at 10:05 and waited behind another car. When I reached the window, the two employees were extremely condescending and told me, "You need to give us more time because we don't prioritize mobile orders!"

I explained that my app said my drink would be ready at 10:06, but the employee making the drink yelled, "It just came in one minute ago!" When she finally handed me my drink, I showed her my app with the pickup time, and she simply responded, "Well, the app is wrong."

To top it off, I had ordered my drink with light ice, but it was so full of ice that I could barely stir it.

I don't think I will be coming back to this one.

This is actually the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. If you’re having a bad day and you think coffee will help it won’t be this coffee. I believe my servers name was Nicole or something along those lines and she was one of the most condescending people I’ve ever met. These people want more than minimum wage but can’t put in the minimum effort to talk like a decent person? Here’s a tip since they want one so bad do better or get a different job.

The morning staff at this location are incredibly rude and condescending, I typically come through at night and have never any issues.The one with the glasses, grey hair and a mask needs an attitude adjustment, bad.
