First time in, sat down with a creme brulee (sp?) latte and a Nutella banana crepe while I watched a bit of Edward Scissorhands. Food was mouthwatering, coffee was tasty, and the staff were kind. I don't eat at places very much any more but I am glad I made an exception for here.

Great new coffee n breakfast place. Reasonable prices. Great crepes: apple cinnamon n strawberry cream. Crepes would be even better if cooked a bit more to caramelize sugar and add a bit of crispy-ness.

OMGOODNESS! This little coffee shop is an absolute gem tucked into a strip mall. The staff are welcoming, and kind. The French crepes are wonderful, the little custard filled pastries, choux de craquelin, are must if you visit! You get a real ceramic cup if you are dining in, and has a very cozy vibe with soothing music playing.

As a passenger enduring the endless, hypnotic monotony of Iowa, I had channelled my boredom into an exhaustive investigation of where, in this vast corn-laden wilderness, one might find a proper flat white. After much scholarly whittling, seven contenders, reduced with the precision of a NASA launch checklist, I settled on this place. Quite possibly the finest decision of my life.
The flat white was stellar, the sort of thing that makes you briefly consider emigrating. My wife, meanwhile, was in raptures over a ridiculously decadent, sugar-encrusted mocha contraption that looked as though it had been designed by a committee of hyperactive pastry chefs. But the true, glorious surprise? Australian meat pies. In Iowa. Just sitting there, waiting. I mean, what are the odds of stumbling upon the apex of road food, right off the interstate in Des Moines?

This is becoming my Go-To spot to get work done while enjoying a fantastic coffee style drink. I am a HUGE fan of the Dirty Chai ( Chai tea with a shot of espresso ) as well as their waffles!
