It’s actually 129. We love this little spot in Le Claire. A decent view of the Mississippi. The service is spectacular. The Maronites are delicious.

As tourists, we inadvertently wound up here the "last night" when Bistro 128 closed its location in anticipation of a move to downtown Des Moines. No matter. This was no somber occasion. The house was packed with local regulars. From owner Lynne's warm hospitality when we arrived to the delicious, imaginative food (I ordered a la carte while Hubby chose the chef's tasting menu so we experienced a nice sampling of menu items) and finely crafted cocktails, we had an awesome experience. We can't wait to dine with you in your new home when we next visit Des Moines. If our first experience is any indicator of future success, we look forward to another enjoyable fine dining opportunity.

We had to come in for one last experience at the Clive location before they move downtown. Food and service was superb as usual and it was great bringing our friends with us who also love Table 128. I had the lamb leg cannelloni which was really unique and delicious. I think it might be the first time I have had a pasta dish there and it did not disappoint. It was part of the chefs menu which was summery and perfect balance of summer. The watermelon gazpacho was so refreshing with the sweetness and salty ness from crispy prosciutto. The Peach Pan A cotta was amazing either goat cheese crumble too. Great last meal in the Clive location. Can't wait for opening night to come see the new place! Love Table 128 & Cheers to your continued success downtown! ?

Every single person is so attentive and connected to making the dining experience perfect.. The food is amazing the atmosphere perfect. .This is one of my favorite restaurants. I don't live in Des Moines, but any chance I get to go there or pass through, Table 128 is where I want to eat The Brussels salad is incredible

Our meal was absolutely delicious We started with Manhattan's made with Rye that were perfection. We had the angry donuts for an appetizer/starter. Love them! We ordered the rainbow trout with couscous and the curry chicken salad sandwich with parmesan fries. We're tipping our toe into getting back to restaurant dinning so we are only eating at places that take reservations. We're not ready to stand around elbow to elbow with folks we don't know while waiting for a table. We appreciate restaurants such as Table 128 that accept reservations and seat you safely away from other people.

Really great at accommodating our large group. The website is not accurate so we showed up for a wine tasting experience that was not happening which was super disappointing but we ordered cocktails and food that was all delicious. The bar manager is a genius because all of the drinks were interesting and amazing. I'd come back, but don't rely on their outdated website if you want to plan ahead for what to eat or drink.

Very unusual,unique, and frequently changing menu. Haven't had a bad meal here. Building and tables are OK, nothing special, but nice enough to dress up if you wish. Casual vibe

Overall an awesome experience. Just a few minor glitches (printer down for printed meal receipt, waiter unsure of top shelf scotch options, spouses salad was late because the added shrimp weren't made for it initially). Staff was great and we had a nice time. We felt compassion as they are soon moving to a new location and so probably logistics have been impacted by lots of moving parts.

Went to celebrate our Anniversary. A wonderful meal. I had the Saturday tasting menu, which was outstanding. My wife ordered off the menu, also fabulous. You can never go wrong at Table 128.
