Relaxing cafe atmosphere

We love barrett’s!!! Friendly staff, amazing food, and delicious treats. We have been here many times since they’ve opened, and it was finally time to write a review. Today we had a Nutella croissant, ranchero burritos, and iced lattes. All amazing!

Good food. But expensive. Very bright and large. It was a bit loud (for someone on autism spectrum) no matter where we sat.

Very lively and happy atmosphere. I do enjoy hanging out with my friends while enjoying fresh and delicious drinks and foods. It’s a place for weekend pleasure- a great excursion to a nice cafe.

Rude staff. Was our first time going and we won't go back. Instead of explaining how things worked, we got reprimanded by staff for standing by the door (while trying to see what the kids wanted to eat). They they pointed at the floor and stared at us.

Food was alright. They didn't give me my coffee, I had to go back in for that since again we hadn't been there before.

Every table and bar space inside was taken over by people with laptops.

This place is gorgeous!! Beautiful and clean atmosphere. I love the decor and feel of this bakery, very inviting and makes you want to stay for a long time. The ordering process was a breeze and enjoyed the pastry and coffee we got. I would love to come back some day.

We had dessert and coffee. Fantastic coffee and wonderful atmosphere. Loved the jazz music :) We'll be back to enjoy to patio seating too.

Flavor was fair for dinner, however it was not worth the price. The staff was awesome and very professional; the atmosphere was very unique and personalized.

Barrett's was a good place to eat. I got a croissant with ham and cheese. The croissant was flaky, but the toppings were only okay. My friend got the southwest skillet, which seemed to be more of a stew than anything. I did enjoy my mocha, and that's probably the only item I would go back for.

Great food, awesome service. We really enjoyed our meals.

Had a wonderful experience tonight at the bistro. Great service and food! One downside was the devils cake we ordered was very dry BUT our waitress left with the check and to my surprise when she returned with the bill they had comped the dessert which we weren’t expecting at all. She didn’t mention it or make us feel awkward just handled it super professionally. THAT is how’s it’s done, amazing customer service. Ending touch was some gifted scotcharoos which were absolutely amazing. Not to mention they do NOT use horrible seed oils in their fryer which is outstanding!!!

It’s the details that’s make a restaurant great. 10/10!

This is the place you want to go to in Coralville/North Liberty. Its comfortable, the staff are friendly, coffee is well made. I went to a different coffee shop today and am lamenting my horrible choice by posting this review.

Love it!

Stopped in while traveling through town on i80 in hopes of having some delicious Iowa breakfast. Sorely disappointed. Got the breakfast sandwich and now I'm just left here thinking how McDonald's breakfast would have tasted better and been cheaper. If you like precooked eggs heated up in a microwave, topped with a piece of kraft cheese and bacon so limp it would make over cooked pasta seem crisp;then this is your place! The bacon scone was pretty solid.
