This place is a hidden gem. The cocktails are spot on. The mixologist can mix you up something you will enjoy just after talking to you for a few minutes. I'm looking forward to the next time we are down there for a game.

Wow! What a find! Just happened to wander in from a nearby hotel, and I was blown away by this classy cocktail bar with an amazing selection of whiskeys, liqueurs, and creative cocktails. Christian is an outstanding bartender - so knowledgeable, friendly, and a great mixologist. I had his “El Camino” creation, a rye cocktail bursting with autumnal flavor. If I lived nearby, I would be here every night. Highly recommended! UPDATE: I’m back, and even more impressed! I just met Jonah the bartender - another friendly, knowledgeable, superb mixologist! How does Chart Room have such great bartenders? This place rivals some of my favorite bars anywhere. I will definitely be back anytime that I’m in Iowa City!

We went to The Chart Room for the first time yesterday to have a drink to celebrate our anniversary, and we had some of the best drinks we've ever had! A very unique menu, very knowledgeable bartender, and cool atmosphere with music. Everything is handmade, creative, and so good. We each had 2 different cocktails, and they were all outstanding. Will definitely be returning!
