Hands down the most disgusting experience I’ve ever had anywhere! 08/18/2025, just before 7pm, there was another family in at the same time as ours. They had a nonverbal, autistic son that was overwhelmed and doing his best to self-soothe. The male employee completely gave up on helping them, after being impatient and rude. The attempts to help this family were bare minimum and obvious that they were just trying to get them out of the door. The family paid and left, and then we paid for our order. After we were done paying, the staff went into the back and started laughing and making fun of the young child.

I get having difficult customers, but this customer wasn’t being difficult because they’re a run-of-the mill jerk. Neither the child nor the mother intended nor could help what happened. I get having young employees, but a young person in a customer-facing role should absolutely follow the expectation of, not only good customer service, but just being a good human in general.

I’m making a complaint directly to corporate, as well.

Shop a local shop instead. Not very family friendly. No play space. We popped off the interstate. It was just OK ice cream, expensive, employees were stressed with the line and mischarged us, hassled me for my email address for coupons, weren’t very friendly to the 8 kids we brought. Umm, it is an ice cream shop so kids are part of the deal. The last straw was no changing stations in the bathroom. Again, kid place right? Get a changing station so my wife isn’t changing a diaper on the sidewalk out front.

Kid-friendliness: No play space. No changing station.

I had the worst experience I ever had at a Cold Stone, and I've come here regularly. I understand it's the summer and there are teens working, but I have never been dumbfounded by responses and seen such carelessness with my order. I ordered the smallest size in a waffle bowl with 3 mixes. When it was handed to me at the register I looked down to see a dab of caramel, a sprinkle of chocolate chips, and half a piece of a graham cracker. All of which were not mixed-in, and the girl that took my order gave me a waffle bowl either with a broken bottom or just pushed the ice cream through it. I don't normally pay in cash but I did and there was no cash at that register so they were doing a lot of running around, completely disorganized, having to look for change for people. I asked for more chocolate chips and caramel since there was literally nothing in my ice cream, the girl finishing ringing me up waved a girl over and explained I wanted more so the girl held my cup and looked at me and asked "Why?". I said I didn't get enough pointing at the ice cream and picked up the waffle bowl to show that there was either no bottom or it was already punctured, and she said I had to pay for more than.

I had waited 10 minutes in a long-line and I didn't want to argue or cause them anymore distress after all that time. When she came back my entire bowl of ice cream was drenched in caramel and a few more chocolate chips were added, and I didn't get another waffle bowl. I paid an extra $2 for something I already paid for and because they kept having to run around for change I didn't want to waste the time of other customers that were waiting to get back 10 cents; additionally, I never received a receipt, not offered one, and did not see one printed so I have no order or transaction #, or card information stored on the store's end to validate my purchase to ask for a refund.

Kinda sucks splurge on ice cream on a hot summer Saturday night only to have teenagers with an attitude, and laziness to skimp my order...

Turned away an hour before close. We checked the hours online and came at 9, the store hours listed also said they close at 10. Pretty ok ice cream most of the time though.

Went to this location at 9pm. Both the online hours and store door stated they closed at 10. They served the group before us and turned us away stating they were “closed.” We also watched them turn away the next group of people that came in. If the store closes at 10, why were people being turned away an entire hour before that? If it was an issue of understaffing, I totally get that. But if that was the case, they should’ve just let us know that it would’ve been a long wait time instead of just telling us to leave.
