Marquee's pizza used to be my go-to pizza place, but ever since the management changed around the end of last year this place has just gotten worse and worse. The food doesn't taste the same as it used to and it seems to get cooked wrong more often now. The servers keep getting quitting or getting fired meaning most of the servers are new so service is often slow and lackluster. The bar used to have creative seasonal drink offerings and a solid cocktail list that was hand-crafted carefully, but now the seasonal offerings really just seem like Pinterest recipes and the cocktails are thrown together by bartenders who clearly don't care. Sadly, I think it's time I find a new go-to pizza place, and I recommend you do the same

I have to say! This place is absolutely heavenly. I highly recommend it. They have an amazing selection of drinks and a beautiful menu it doesn’t matter what you pick. It’s gonna blow your mind. The manager and staff are lovely, kind people. I have no complaints about this establishment. Marquee Pizzeria + Bar set the bar really high for everyone around them. Super happy I found this place.
Kid-friendliness: Family’s with kids is what makes this place run and makes it such a beautiful place to share.

Adorable lil place with the best pizza to ever grace my taste buds. Whenever we visit Iowa City, we go to Marquee Pizza. We get one to share and one to take home, yes it's that good! The crust is perfect, the flavors are far from bland. The toppings are well thought out and paired together nicely. The kitchen is slightly open so you can see them tossing the dough and making the pizza fresh. Tried the soup last time we went and just as amazing as the pizza! Go! You won't regret it!!

Waited 50 minutes for food and was undercooked because they were so far behind. Also was missing toppings.
Seems to be zero management leadership in place. Every employee looked lost and confused.

This place is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the cozy, intimate atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. But the real star of the show was the food. I had the Sweet Angelo, and it was simply divine. The flavors were complex and perfectly balanced. It's clear that the chefs are incredibly talented. I can't wait to return and try other items on the menu. This is a must-visit for any foodie!
