Not super impressed, kinda cute place but I’ve been to better, it was loud, and expensive for what it is though, the food was not as expected, the eggplant parmigiana, (and I’m assuming all the marinara sauce) is waaaaay too spicy, marinara should not be spicy! the burger was bland, and was missing the extra toppings that I ordered, no mustard Available, might have decent adult beverages but I didn’t have any. Server was friendly. But over all, I wouldn’t come again.

My husband saw the wood fire pizza oven and got us a table. Love the building. Gorgeous bar. Our server was busy and on top of it. She gave us great recommendations for food choices. My Caprese salad was very good and my husband’s tomato soup was great. He had the Alfredo pizza and I had the Bianca. Very good pies! Perfect crust!!

Wow. To forget the food and the service for a minute, let me tell you about the rubber band in the broccolini. Listen, I get it. Things happen. But after I politely asked if it be taken off the check, the manager informed me that he would only take it off if it was less than half eaten! As if we hadn't just discovered it late into our meal. It was so ungenerous and made me feel so embarrassed in front of my friends. I never do this but it felt quite unnecessary.

The BEST Brussel Sprouts EVER!!!!! Pizza is so delicious and they offer unique toppings. Great service and great Happy Hour prices. We ate here back in January when we were in town for the Iowa/Purdue basketball game. We love it so much that we are stopping on our way to Champaign, Illinois this Sunday...it's that good!!!

This is a haven for the wood fired pizza purists. We started out with the stracciatella and wood-fired broccolini with spicy oil on the side and those were great. Then split the Margherita, school's out, and the limited time Nico. Definitely exactly what they promised to be. They have a Detroit pizza that looked amazing and will be gotten on my next visit. The place is new, the staff is great, everything is clean, plenty of parking right behind the business, and the area is very walkable for a day out.Parking: There is a large free parking garage right outside the backdoor.Kid-friendliness: Really good kid selections.
The pizza and toscana is top tier. The thin crispy crust and amazing flavors were refreshing. However, I was seated at the bar and the amount of fruit flies and gnats flying around were disgusting.

Worst pizza I have seen in my life. $16 for this burnt“ Ode to Detroit”. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves charging that for a child’s size pizza. Take Detroit’s name out of your mouths……….. (response to owners) you changed the description of the pizza after this incident. When i ordered it, it said nothing about a 6x6 on the website. The fact that you think its appropriate to charge $16 for such a little child’s size pizza is reason enough to never come back to this place. Got even more of a reason for the fact it was burnt. Just another pop up restaurant that will not be around long. You owe it to Detroit to take that off your menu

Had the Margherita pizza. Must say I was very disappointed. 4 pieces of basil and very little mozzarella cheese. Didn't care for the sauce.But, we had a very sweet waitress. She did a great job.

Don’t get the chicken parmesan or the pizza. This place is overrated. Also, my table was surprised when we were told to either leave our table or be moved to the bar in separate seats because of future reservations.
