Went to Nothing Bundt Cakes in Coralville and put in a large order ($286). After our order was paid for the associate asked us if we had the app as we could earn rewards on this order. They were moving to a new rewards system (moving from telephone number to app) but if we downloaded the app we could enter the receipt or a code on the receipt to get the rewards for this $286 order. I went to our car; downloaded the app but did not see how to enter the receipt/code to get rewards. Went back into the store and the associate had left for the day (just 10 minutes after I left the store) and the manager said that she was not tech savvy and one of the younger associates could help us and to bring the receipt back when we picked up the order. Picked up the order and asked the associate to assist us in getting the receipt/code entered to earn the rewards. Was told that could not use the receipt and that there was no code on the receipt to enter. Another associate was asked and was told the same thing. The associate then asked the manager (guessing it was the same one I talked to after placing the order on Monday but she did not come out from the back) and the manager said that we needed the app to begin with to get the rewards. First time that we heard this and that was that. Where I am disappointed is that there were no options presented to allow us to get the rewards. I thought of two – void and refund the entire order and now that we have the app do the exact same order and pay for it today OR calculate what the reward points would be and go into the system and give us the reward points. I did not mention either of these because I got the impression that the manager did not want to look at any options. The associates were apologetic for being provided wrong information regarding the rewards process but very disappointed in the manager for not finding a way to get this done.

I have mostly only good things to say about this place. It's clean, the employees are always super friendly and the cakes are spectacular. Except, today I tried the banana cream pudding. This is the first bad flavor I've had. Not even sure why but something about the banana filling and the cream cheese drizzle is, not good. Then throw in the slightly soggy cake and I don't recommend this one at all. But please go try the other flavors. They're normally spectacular.

It hurts me to write this review honestly because I've been a customer of multiple locations for several years.. At this specific location the last 3 or even more times I have came in to order, the customer service was awful. We either get the silent treatment or eye rolls when just trying to decide which ones to order... hoping and praying this changes one day as it use to be a happy and fun experience especially when bringing my children in. We never complained about the price because believe me THE BUNDTS WERE WORTH IT every single time! However... this time we ordered several (as we typically do because we live out of town) just to find that now they're not filled fully 😭🥺 We opened up a couple different ones and it was all the same, no longer filling all the way through the middle 😔 Im hoping things go back to the way they use to be so we can all enjoy our experience at this location again but until then, I'll probably wait until the holiday season is over...

I got a small lemon Bundtlet cake to share with my spouse. It was cute in a little personal container, and was absolutely delicious! Moist, spongy, sweet but not too sweet, and a great size (we each had a third and now we have a little leftover for later). Each bite was consistent and had the right amount of cream topping, so each bite was the perfect bite. I'll definitely come back, especially for special occasions, as my spouse is still ranting about what a great cake it was!

Back again. Only to deal with the one and only Maya again who was one of the rudest retail/food service folks I’ve ever dealt with. Eye rolling, annoyance with customers, and absolutely unwilling to help if it means doing anything extra.

Remember folks, they are frozen cakes that are frosted on site. And these employees are off the wall rude. I can’t do it anymore.
I’ve been here repeatedly because my family loves them but I’m done. Not recommending them again either. The service is just too bad.

Cakes are good, employees honestly are so terrible. The attitudes are awful all the time. I’ve had them roll their eyes, be obnoxious and rude. I came in 1 hour before they closed and asked for extra frosting and they told me they couldn’t because the frosting gets cleaned up before they close. This place pulls frozen cakes out and frosts them. The one thing they do is frost. But they “close it down”???

They also offer classic and limited flavors! I grabbed the box of "Bundtinis" which are a dozen of their mini personals.

Absolutely phenomenal experience ordering a cake from here online and having it ready within a few hours. Fully custom. Amazing service from the Loyola University student who helped us. She’s a gem. Guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious the cakes were. I was so impressed with how well it traveled in my hatchback trunk for over an hour. You guys are the best!

I tried a mini personal sized bundt cake for the first time (I’m not a huge cake fan) and I have genuinely never had such a good cake in my life. The frosting is incredible, cake is moist & even the sprinkles were good lol! So presently surprised!
