Best place ever, I'm originally from California, coming from California I tried a lot of different Pho restaurants throughout my life, and this is by far the best!!! Period! The Pho and Shrimp Fried rice are amazing !!! Great portion and even better taste.. the owners are awesome , their kids are awesome !!! Just go!!

We had the beef pho and shrimp spring roll both were out of this world the pho was full off flavor the spring roll was fresh and yummy our waitress was very friendly. Yes yes yes we will visit them again! Soon!

If you haven’t had their food you’re missing out!! They’re super nice and kind with questions and the food is so fresh and yummy! Highly recommend the spring roll with shrimp and the vermicelli noodles with veggies and tofu!

I was in coraville for work a few months ago and never tried Saigon. I had to come back this week and ordered it on DoorDash. Everything was spectacular. The bun Bo hue was spicy and delicious and the broken rice with pork chop was also incredibly good. I have a per diem and didn’t even get near it. The prices are great and I can’t say enough about the food and how it was packaged.

By far, the best Vietnamese restaurant around town. The pho broth tastes authentic with homemade beef broth. The noodles are cooked to perfection. Taste and food quality are comparable to other Vietnamese restaurants in larger cities (I am from Southern California).

SO happy to see that Saigon’s Corner is now on Chomp! (Maybe this isn’t new, but I don’t remember seeing them there before). We got a ton of food for a very reasonable price, it was very well packaged (pho broth separate from noodles, veg, protein, etc), arrived in a very reasonable time (even on a Saturday night) and it was all fresh and really delicious. We easily have enough for lunch for both of us tomorrow as well. We will definitely be ordering again, and can’t wait!!

I am so happy that we still have Saigon’s Corner in Iowa City! The new owner is doing an incredible job to honor the beautiful recipes of the family. And Quang is exceptional. My favorite restaurant in Iowa City! Thank you!

I went and ate here today. The server was so busy and doing a great job and the cook or owner or whoever it may be was yelling at her. Not professional. Ok food, amazing server. Will not be going back.

I’ve tried this spot both through food delivery and dining in person, and let me just say—it’s been wonderful every time!

The food is rich, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. Everything comes out quickly, hot, and perfectly delicious.

Let’s talk about the Pho—it was absolutely incredible. The spices, the flavor profile, and the overall tone of the dish were all spot on and so authentic.

Now, onto the tricky one: Bún Bò Huế (Hue Beef Noodle Soup). This dish is notoriously hard to get right because of its complex use of spices like lemongrass, but Saigon nails it. While it has its own little twist, it’s still one of the closest versions I’ve tasted to the original. The balance of spiciness, rich flavor, the noodles, and the tender meat—all so good. It’s comforting, satisfying, and just what you need when you’re craving Vietnamese food.

One little wish, though—I’d love to see Bánh Mì on the menu. It’s such a quick, healthy, and tasty dish that I think college students nearby would eat up (literally!). I know I’d much rather swing by for a fresh Bánh Mì here than settle for Subway any day.

Overall: Great food, great location, and an absolute must-visit if you miss Vietnamese food or want to try it out for the first time. Highly recommend! 🥢✨

We were genuinely amazed by the food here! We ordered p3 special pho and p33 pork and egg rolls. The pho broth really tastes like home it’s so authentic and the pork comes in p33 is savory and juicy. The service we also delight and welcoming. We can not recommend this place enough!

This spot is such a gem in Iowa City- oh my goodness. The stir-fried lemongrass chicken is my new favorite dish. Truly, I have not had a thing there that I haven't loved! The pho broth is perfect, and the cure for any hangover... I promise.
The staff are all amazing, and will give great recommendations if you can't decide which dish to dive into- friendliest people in town <3.
I would 10/10 recommend checking this spot out, it is clear that the owner and staff believe in what they bring to town (BEST PHO).
