Their burgers are more moist and tasty than they used to be however I miss the crunch and singe on the edges that came from their smaller version. Fries were very good. Why do burgers always taste better in Iowa?

Terrible management. Refused to get us our fountain drinks after their lobby machine failed to dispense anything. Took 5 minutes to get a refund for a drink that they couldn't serve to us. Very rude staff, very incompetent management

I hadn't been to a Steak 'n Shake for years. I decided to visit b/c they started using beef tallow to fry in. The fries were awesome and the burgers were too! I will definitely be coming back when I'm near another restaurant.

The new kiosk system took a little to understand and I found a bug in the system. But the staff were quick to help me fix the issue and got my food as ordered.
As far as the food, it's the same consistency as S&S has been known for, which is a great thing with so many places trying to cut corners.

Went by last night with a friend to try out the new beef tallow fries. The ordering process was seamless and user friendly via the tablets. The staff along with the manager, Lincoln were friendly and accommodating. Will be back! 😀

I don't leave nearby so I had no idea you had to use a QR code to get the fountain to work. Thankfully a worker was nearby to explain it. Otherwise, awesome food and service. The garlic steak burger was amazing.
Food is pretty decent when you get it. Ordered food for pick up and when I got home found that they didn’t bag our fries at all. I knew we should have went to Culver's their service is far better and they are accurate with your orders. Please avoid this business at all cost!

Great as always, found this place 24 years ago in college, came back to this location for the first time in 20ish years and it looks the same (in a good way) aside from the added ordering kiosks! Delicious as Steak 'n Shake always is!
