Got this doordashed to my hotel. It was amazing. The sushi is on point and the price is awesome. The rangoon and cheesecake were so good.

Nice clean place with a outside view and large windows with a out door deck. Rom for large parties.

Great sushi restaurant in the Coralville area! I ordered the baby grace. It’s similar to the rainbow roll but in a heart ❤️ and I think more flavorful yet lighter🎉

This is my “regular” sushi spot in Johnson county. For the quality AND quantity of what you get for the price you pay, it is far better than every sushi restaurant in the area, especially with their Thursday Specials of $4 basic rolls.
You’re not going to find a single place in the state of Iowa that will give you 8 pieces of yellowtail for $4, and great quality yellowtail as well. So I am always delighted every time I go.
As for appetizers, I love their clear broth soup and edamame.

They have great servers, cooks, and management. I would recommend this place to anyone I know coming to the area wanting good sushi in house or even to go they can trust.

The best place if you are in the mood for some sushi or any Japanese plate.

I went there after a bad and disappointing time at Iowa pho and found a new go to spot. It had amazing customer service we walked in and were sat down immediately. And it was a nice lady that explained all the stuff on the menu and I liked how the seat were clean and the booths. I got the sushi boat I don’t eat raw fish a whole lot but this place made my time going out for sushi enjoyable and that’s a 5 star for me?

My son and I ate dinner here after a horrible experience at Iowa Pho regarding customer service. The customer service was top knotch, food and atmosphere was great. We will visit more often and I definitely recommend this establishment especially for date night, or business meetings. Not to mention an outside balcony area. Very nice!

I ordered their sashimi sampler along with a pho. Their portion sizes are excellent and everything was fresh. The entrance is in the back of the building, which is a bit annoying, but the place itself was clean and the staff was kind.

Out of all the dining establishments in Johnson County, Three Samurai consistently receives the most health code violations per Johnson County health inspection reports....and by a landslide. (It's all public knowledge so check for yourself online). At a sushi restaurant, safe food handling and storage is especially paramount.

Back in the day Three Samurai was a top notch establishment. Following an ownership change to a Latino family the quality (and safety) of the food has sunk abysmally low. Avoid at all costs.

We come here regularly and enjoy sushi or the bento box lunch special, and are happy every time! Delicious food, fresh rolls, and yummy drinks. A staple when we want sushi/Japanese food.
