As usual, Jack Binion's was spectacular! We were celebrating our 41 Anniversary so we' were seated in a booth. These booths are very comfortable and spacious! Our waiter, Matthew, was wonderful! Very friendly and attentive. He recommended items and knowledgeable. We had the filets - my husband had crabcake and I had sautéed shrimp .( which I highly recommend) that were cooked to perfection as to how we ordered! We had the garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus....
This place is a hidden gem. I decided to make the trek seeking something different from the usual Omaha Steakhouses. The atmosphere is nice and quiet despite the bustling gambling activity and noises outside. The menu at first glance appears typical until you find a few subtle twists. One example is the Jalapeno buttered corn. This understated fusion is definitely a welcome change from the typical midwestern fare. The chef came out herself to answer any questions on the menu....
Above & beyond is the phrase I’d use for my experience. Rachel was our server, every recommendation she gave was spot on. The head chef was on expo the whole time being the last line of defense personally before sending out. Always something I look for to know the care of the staff. Absolutely appreciated and noticed.
