This is not a real coffee shop. The coffee is already brewed in a percolator (and it’s not real hot). I ordered a Latte and she used the coffee from that percolator!! What?? That’s not a latte! It wasn’t hot enough after she added the milk but she proactively offered to warm it. She added more cold milk to the warmer which really changed the taste. Very weak for my latte and also for my husband’s black coffee. We are so disappointed to have this coffee while we are on the road traveling. I seriously am struggling to drink the colored water. The young lady working was very nice as we engaged with her. $10 down the tube but more importantly we have no coffee to drink.

I enjoyed my Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Latte! They also had some local vegan cookies and popcorn for sale and i grabbed a few stickers as well. There are plenty of spaces to sit inside and out.

Food could be better but still good, service is really good, out of rootbeer all the time, it could be a little less expensive but it’s alright

Lady was super nice that was there but she filled my wife’s iced latte the rest of the way with water… like a considerable amount of the drink was just water (1/3) … its not an americano. And my black coffee tasted like water with an ounce of dirt in it. If you were gonna give me bad dirt coffee for $5, you might as well at least make it taste like dirt all of the way. Starbucks doesn’t even charge that much for a black coffee, I can’t imagine that this Folger’s type coffee cost you that much, at least put two scoops in your drip filter next time. I’m not coming back.

Friendliest coffee shop staff in the entire Omaha/Council Bluffs area. I live nearby and try to stop in here once a week for coffee on my way to work. I've never been disappointed with anything I've gotten, and if I'm ever unsure what to order, the barista is always willing to suggest something new. They also feature a selection of pastries from local bakers as well (for example, they have cookie donuts from OcookieO), and it's nice to see local businesses supporting each other like that. All around, this is a great little coffee shop in a cool historic building that serves this part of the city very well. The only thing I think I would improve would be partnering with veg.edible if possible to offer their delicious vegan/gluten free baked goods, which I have seen for sale at other coffee shops in the metro.

Love this spot and the staff is the best. The owner Julie is one of the most inspiring business owners I’ve met. If you didn’t know, they have multiple locations and even a trailer they fail to events. J’s is the spot If you’re looking for some caffeine or just want to support a great local business
